Do they make an AR in .45?

I'd like to build one in the same caliber as my 1911..

A couple months back someone I get a email from was blowing out 40S&W and 45ACP AR barrels, and maybe uppers, "contract overruns".
Quick search says they're out there, but not real common, looking at the price on an Oly a bit spendy.

There are blow back and DI versions. Your choice.

I pieced mine together from several parts about 3 years ago. RMW barrel with gas block & bcg, Spartan side-charging-nonreciprocating upper, spikes lower, Samson Evolution hand guard, SB tactical SBV brace. Uses a mag block and modified grease gun mags. I guess I'm in the $1200 range or so. Can is a Rugged Obsidian.

I just recently saw that RMW has teamed up with Bazooka Brothers to produce a packaged carbine or pistol. This is where I would go. I'm debating on picking up one of their lowers to use with unmodded mags.

Only draw back to this design I feel is the mags, the GG mags are around $70 and they are all 30rd. There are some large mag Glock lowers out there but I'm not sure there as I didn't look to much into this. The GG mags don't like to sit near full or the springs begin to weaken.

If you want to go blowback, look into joebobsoutfitters as I think they have the barrel, bcg, large mag glock lowers and other parts.

If you're building look at QC10. I built my ar-9 out of mostly their stuff and I love it.

They have lowers that accept glock mags or colt.

Edit: that may be just their 9mm that takes colt mags.

If you have the coin to spend look at GMMG's Mk 45 Guard. It is a radial delay blowback design that takes Glock 21 mags.

I have a H&K USC Carbine in .45ACP that is fun to shoot, although the inability to fully customize and suppress it kinda sucks.

I second this. No experience, but I have heard that .45acp tends to chew up some of the normal AR parts and CMMG found a way to mitigate that.
