Just ordered this guy for my .308

Be at the FFL on wedWednes, but probably wouldn't be able to get it until next weekend, damn job.

Nice paint job. I'd dust some dark green in there for fun. Or lay some leafy branches on it later in the spring and use that as your stencil.

Took this today for a different thread, and figured I'd throw it in here as well.

Both are 300BLK. The SBR is an AAC upper that the previous owner had changed to a 10" Noveske barrel. I had it Cerakoted Magpul FDE (I probably would've left it along if it was black, but it was a bead-blasted grey color). Spikes lower with PSA MOE LBK. Vortex SPARC, Magpul MBUS & AFG. YHM LT mounted on a FH QD muzzle device.

The full size is a 16" S&W upper (technically 300 Whisper) on a JD Machine USBP lower with a PSA MOE LBK. Vortex SPARC, Magpul MBUS & AFG. Form 1 can mounted on a FH QD muzzle device, but there's a YHM Nitro in jail to replace it.

Do you like it? I put one on my AR10 and I'm not sure I care for it.

I haven't shot it yet, but shouldering it and being used to the angle of the standard grips, makes this one feels awkward.

I tried out a K2. Never got used to it. After a long plinking session I gave me a tight spot in my wrist if I switched to any other platform.

Traded with a member here who loves em for a regular moe. Fwiw.

I like the gription (tm) of it. Just not sold on the angle.
 
Block 1. I just need to install the correct flash hider that is on my bench and find the Wilcox mount. Maybe add the Surefire 951 and sling and be done.

I build clones. Here's my Block I with Aimpoint Comp2, RIS, SOPMOD stock, M7 bayonet. M16A4 clone with TA31 ACOG, M7 bayonet and M5 RAS.

I've got my variant of a Mk18 Mod 0 almost done. Still deciding if I am going to do an M2 or just modernize to an MRO or T1.

I prefer old school....spent many a day with the A1, still prefer that model today. Built this shorty from parts, even to the 10.5" 1:12 barrel w/pinned 5.5" FH and aluminum butt. Not a perfect XM177, but close enough for my pocketbook, lol...The rail stub on the HG is for a light as this one resides beside my bed..IMG_20140907_171943921_HDR.jpg
