I’ll shoot you a PM when I get a sec. Out of the office today and running around
I’d like to hear as well if you don’t mind.
Mine came in the mail today and so far it seems to be good kit, but it's going to receive an excellent trial by fire in the AZ desert in a few weeks, and I'll be able to give an opinion based on it's utility there.
Cool. That sounds like fun. Enjoy yourself and let us know how she does!
Yes please do, I’m looking to get a bipod for the wife’s AR and possibly replace the one on my PA10 with ones and some first hand feedback would be great.
I’ll make a post about it after lunch. Gonna head home and take some pictures of it and it’s functionality etc and try to see what it can do
Only recommendation for a bipod I can give is Harris folders. Been using them in Govt service since 90' and have one that I switch back in forth off my 20" M16A4 clone and H&R 340 .3o8 (Mauser 98 action).
Seen here on my Mk13 .300 Win Mag in Iraq 05-06'
When the wife is away the ar’s will play
PSA 308 AR plus Leupold VX3i 3.5-10, CMC flat trigger and Magpul bipod *** At DPRC #1 *** I love the smell of Varget in the evening.
Got a lot of new things to play with over the next few weeks...
My 2 ongoing projects. Lower and 12.5” grendel upper. Be nice its my first go at camo.
The upper is good but you went a little light on the lower
It’s just really good camo! The lower will be for a different upper.
Just finished my first AR build. Nothing super fancy but I’ll be upgrading it over time. Wanted to try and keep it fairly high speed/low drag for my budget. I’m already plotting my next build. It’s easy to see why this becomes an addiction.
2018 Colt SOCOM...14.5 pinned and welded birdcage, KAC rail, ambi selector, side mounted sling swivel, etc...note the new CR colt serial number, I had heard they stopped using the LE numbers and that is confirmed...all new Colt lowers start with CR, and contrary to the internet rumors, CR does not stand for Civilian Rifle, it stands for Colt Rifle (I called Colt and asked). Also noticed no more C marks...everything has a cage number now.
Minus Spot Report...it did not come with the full selection of rail covers that come with the KAC, although they did include the KAC broom handle.
Not the best photo guy...
Been busy at work. Just rebuilt 10 shot out uppers (1 ea 14.5" standard M4 bbl with FSB, 1 ea 10.3" DD RIS II, and 8 ea 14.5" DD RIS II) with new 14.5" SOCOM bbls, new bolts, low profile gas blocks, etc)
Before, dissasembled and finished work. Gauged another detachment and have 9 more to rebarrel next week.
Here's the 10.3"
That's some legit looking hardware there!
Looks like santas workshop...because we know the naughty list is real
Very real naughty list.
God I want one of those cutout rails. Totally amazing.
