I emailed him to ask because I’ve been looking for a pistol in that form. It’s an HK Stock and the barrel has been cut down. It’s either on a form 1 or form 4 (he couldn’t remember) so he was good to go for the sale. I asked him about us needing to do it right and have me file for a stamp, then he ghosted away.
 
Not an abomination, but an interesting inquiry on my overpriced rifle.

I would venture to guess that the form 1/4 he spoke of was outside his realm of understanding.
My name is distinctly linked to the serial numbers of my things obtained via form 1/4... I'm going to make absolutely certain that I have paperwork explaining where i sent them when I was done with them.

I have zero patience for this stupidity.

There is my asking price. The way you begin negotiations is to make an offer. Maybe you find a price in between that you both can agree on and maybe you don't, but the way to find out starts with an offer.

Edit to add, any low-ball offer will be given all the attention it deserves.

I had someone ask me that, and I gave him a price a hundred over what it was listed for, he told me to FOAD

I snarked back at an armslist guy recently about that and he actually apologized, made me an offer, and bought my stuff.
 
$700 for a bone stock G26. Sounds reasonable.

I was wondering, can we set a rule that all Armslist/Craiglist posts should have a screenshot of the ad? Cause if you check the page days/months later, the ad might already be taken down, and we lose out on the fun! :p
