Armslist abominations.

If the seller is European, he/she might be trying to say "over 100 thousand" as they swap the , and . from our norms. So, there could be a great deal of precision in that number. So, more than 100,000, but less than 100,010. In other words, the round count is precisely between 100,001 and 100,009. Pretty good record keeping. o_O

It reminds me of my dad's joke. "Things are going really well for me. Last year I made less than a million dollars and this year I expect to make less than two million".

So why is it if you need the money right now, but then will take a trade for a AR10/ high-end AR15's and AR Pistols?
I've always wondered about that myself. I've seen posts on here to that effect, "I have to sell the ??? right away. The baby needs formula. However, I'll trade the ??? for a ???."

I was just reading adds last night in bed to my wife from this site and arms list and she loved it everytime I came a across a “need to sell this glock fast, my child needs emergency life saving surgery.
Would also trade for a .408 Chey Tac plus cash in my end.”

I LOL every time. You know you can trust, unconditionally, when someone has to sell a firearm for the money to pay some bills. Fortunately for some of those desperate sellers, the lenders they owe $ to will accept firearms as payment, just not the one the currently have for sale.

He's really swinging for the fences with that one.

There's no way to find out what the market will bear unless you ask.

I posted a 10-1/2" stainless Super Blackhawk on Armslist for $900. It took a few weeks and I got a few nibbles, then a guy set up a meet that couldn't be soon enough for him and paid full asking price.

"Custom"
"Stippled"
"Upgraded"

All add $150 a piece to the price of what you could buy a new one for according to some sellers.
Nothing wrong with customizing your gun for your liking, but don't expect a premium when you go to get rid of it.
I think some of these folks believe they know more than Glock does when it comes to making a Glock perform at its peak.
Most of the time I just think, damn...

You have to understand, Armslist has it's own language. I have prepared this quick reference guide to help you:

"DO YOUR RESEARCH"
This means the seller wants you to go find the most ridiculous buy it now price on gunbroker and consider that as fair market value.

"NO LOWBALLING"
This means the seller's heinous MSRP +$10 price for a used firearm is firm.

"ONLY INTERESTED IN TRADES IN MY FAVOR"
I will only trade if you are willing to give me something for nothing. My terd is worth your diamond.

"DON'T WASTE MY TIME"
This means the buyer prefers to use his time endlessly bumping his ad for some hunk of overpriced crap rather than conversing with potential buyers making reasonable offers.

"FULLY TACTICAL"/"DECKED OUT"/"ALL THE BELLS AND WHISTLES"/"LOTS OF UPGRADES"

In it's simplest form, this means "I put some plastic Tapco crap on the firearm". Be prepared to pay 500% market value for each rail and peice of plastic that attaches to a rail. Don't even ask what flashlights are valued at.

"NEED THIS THING GONE"

But not bad enough to put a reasonable price on it.

"RARE"/ "COLLECTIBLE"
Old, but likely neither.

"YOU WONT FIND ANOTHER LIKE THIS ONE"
There's several on gunbroker right now.

"PRICED FOR QUICK SALE"
No, it's not, but in using this phrase, the seller hopes you will think you have stumbled on a real deal and snatch it up.

"CUSTOM CAMO FINISH"
I sponged craft paint all over it.

"CUSTOM GLOCK"
My bad stipple job and Zev recoil spring double the value.

It's the Russia

I fixed that for you. But otherwise, I think this is so accurate it is scary. Bravo, sir...

You can't make this stuff up. A disassembled, missing parts AR with less than 1000rds through it for the cheap price if over $1000. Screenshot_20171212-233715.jpg

But at least once you assemble it into am illegal 12" SBR, ATF will throw you in jail for FREE.
