Suspects are already free I’m sure; and, hot onto their next victims …
And I’m sure they have no interest in pursuing the third dude anymore.

It’s rare that I walk through a parking lot without SA, but it happens occasionally. Every so often I realize when I get to the truck that I never even looked around. But never has it happened when carrying, especially open carry. I’m more paranoid about stuff like this when open carrying.

This is a perfect example of just because you have a gun it doesn't mean you are armed. Pay attention.

Not long ago I was at our local Arby's when Cleetus walked in OC a Highpoint in a cheap nylon holster with his lady friend. He sat down with his back to the door while she ordered their food. The gun was barely in the holster and could have been easily snatched. Zero SA but Cleetus was "ready".

A good rentention holster and constant SA is necessary for OC. I would never not want OC to be allowed. But I 100% prefer concealed. Only time I OC is out in the woods, walking my dogs or something like that. And usually just because I can. On the rare occasion I go somewhere public with it, I’m constantly paying attention to what is around me.

Queue the anti-OC crowd…

I love how the article says he was carrying in a holster off his hip. Maybe if it was on his hip, it wouldn’t have been stolen?
I didn’t click the link…but that’s not exactly what the preview says…

They took a handgun…off his hip.

Punctuation is a wonderful thing...

The third suspect remains on the run at this time, police said.

He must be tired by now.
