Hey there folks,
I must be a gluten for punishment since I know that I will get the immediate "Gun shows suck" and "They are just overpriced" responses, but I noticed that this weekends show in Ashville didn't have a thread started so I figured I would pass along that indeed there is a show this weekend. This is the one promoted by Mike Kent at the Ag center across from the Ashville Airport.
I would estimate that this show is about 80-90% of a Dixie show in Raleigh. So definitely bigger than the C&E shows, but now quite as big as Dixie.
Hours are 9-5 Saturday, and 10-4 on Sunday.

When after setting up today, I walked around and I saw MANY gun dealers that had prices BELOW box store prices. I did see the typical "private sellers" that are trying to charge retail on top of retail, but if you avoid them and stay with the licensed guys I think you will find that we aren't doing that.
For the reloaders out there, large primers are available at several tables, but be aware that the prices start at $140, and I saw as high as $180 (Those were bench rest primers)
If your in town and happen to visit the show, stop by and say hi.
Also - If you have any brass you are looking to sell off, please bring it in.
Currently we are paying $2.25 - $2.50 per pound for brass (Scrap yard is paying $1.90). If you have a lot (like more than a bucket full), please email me ahead of time so we can coordinate.
And let the hate mail begin
