I have been buying 168 grain Sierra BTHP Matching ammo for my 700 5R custom from Australian Outback. My gun really likes it. At 100 yards, I get better than half inch groups (3 shot) pretty c onsistently and last month my best group was one ragged hole .072 inch over the ..308 caliber size hole. Best part was I found this stuff on line for 70 cents a round which I can't seem to duplicate now. Hope it comes back to what I paid previously. Nice stuff for somebody who doesn't reload. Its claim to fame is their ballistic temperature independent powder that gives it consistent muzzle velocity over a wide temperature range. I have to make very minor adjustments on my scope in either winters cold or summer heat. I recommend highly just leave some in stock for me!

I hunt with that exact same ammo. 165gr Sierra Gamekings in an essentially match loaded round that works both when it's hot and frigid morning cold? For 70 cents a shot? Yes please! I sighted in my hunting rifle with it, and it has the same POI as my 168gr hpbt match loads, so I'm very pleased with the Australian Outback 308 ammo. :)
