My 2003 Avalanche has started making a noise that sounds like a right side wheel bearing. IE increases with speed on all road surfaces and lessens when turning right. I replaced the right wheel bearing even though it felt and sounded fine on jack stands. No change in noise. I am servicing the front diff today axle shafts boots are good and no clicking. tires rebalanced and rotated with no change. any other thoughts on possible sources to check for the noise

Strange as it sounds, check the left side hub as well. Chasing sounds is a bear.
Had the same thing on my Ram 3500. I swore it was the right side, same exact symptoms. And I just KNEW it couldn’t be the left side because it was replaced less than a year prior as part of the deal when I bought the truck.
Turned out the “new” hub on the left had failed.

checked the left no play in bearing but I may replace it with the "good" one I changed on the right

Is the truck 4wd? What is the mileage? If i broke it all the way down to wheel bearings id put new ones in no matter what.

If 4wf have you checked transfer case for pump rub

z71 4x4 190,000 changed bearing on right side both bearings were changed at 140,000 how do you check for pump rub? going to try a alignment next.

Might be the other bearing. YouTube videos can best describe its where part of the transfer case starts to rub through housing but steering wouldnt typically make it worse.
