I can't seem o locate the avatar setting. An one got a lead?

Go to your profile under "My profile" and hover over your current Avatar. Edit avatar will appear.

Now, tell me how you got the "Happy to be here" under your name.

Top right, beside your user name. Click the arrow, select My Profile, then hover over the blank picture on the left side until a blue button named "Edit Avatar" pops up.

Ok,,,Check it out,,,,Go to your screen name at the top right,,click Profile,,,,,,,On that page find your big Avatar on the LEFT side,,,hoover around it and edit Avatar will pop up
