Avengers: Endgame

I think I'll take his advice about watching the movies (not about reading the comics).

Is there somewhere that lists these movies, so I can easily check to see what I've seen or not seen?
Yes...search for marvel movies in order. You just have to decide if you want to watch them in the order they were released, or in chronological order. That’s not exactly the same.

Thanks! I'll search that.

I replied to my buddy, asking the same thing, or at least the "must sees" before watching Endgame.

Very long
Very good
I was not disappointed
I must say I was not a fan of fat drunk stupid Thor.
So many awesome moments, and I was happy that Captain Marvel was kept to a minimum (was that supposed to be a dyke haircut at the end?)

hate to see Robert Downey leave the franchise, but his contract was up, he was making a flat 10 million plus 2.35 percent on the back end, plus his Noble death leaves room for a reboot of the iron Man franchise

Just watched with the fam. Thought it was pretty good, though my butt started to hurt a bit towards the end!

Noise at the end of the credits? Thoughts?

It's Ironman building his suit from the first movie, or that the theory i read

That was the sound of Tony Stark hammering armor in the cave of the first Iron man movie. It was a nod to him. The three hits were a sign that MCU phase 3 was done

I was a major comic fan growing up in the 80's. I remember buying all the comics of all the different titles that led up to the original Infinity Gauntlet comic in 91. I remember cutting grass for money, riding my bike 2 miles to town on the Friday that Infinity Gauntlet came out in July of 91, and buying 2 issues. I remember talking to my friends about how it would be the ultimate comic book movie. To say I've been waiting for this would be an understatement. This movie surpassed every expectation I had. I don't know how it could be topped.

Still have the Infinity Gauntlet series tucked away in my closet. Gonna have to see it a second time.

Watched it last night. Already bought tickets to see it in IMAX again this week.

I really liked the ending of Cpt America getting the life he always wanted with Carter, living to an old age and knowing he was passing on the mantle to a good man in Wilson.

5. The Incredible Hulk can be safely skipped. It really is quite bad and none of the actors ever show up in said roles again. The whole move can basically be summed up with "Genius has accident with gamma rays and turns into a big green rage monster when angry."

Enjoyed it immensely. Closest I've ever come to cheering out loud in the theater. Also the kids will quit making fun of my Crocs obsession.

5:50p showing of Endgame, here I come. See what I can notice that I might’ve missed over the weekend.

Not true. General Ross (“Thunderbolt”) was in Civil War, Infinity War and Endgame.
And Stan Lee is in that one along with the others. :D

The shot of him and Lou Ferigno is classic. Actually used it at work today.

Am I the only one that was absolutely bored for 80% of the film?

I actually own all of the previous movies, have seen them multiple times. I thought Infinity War May have been the best movie I’d ever seen.

This one just....wasn’t.

Took the kids yesterday after work, god is it long but it is really good.
If the Thor/Guardians movie doesn't happen I'm going to be pissed. And the whole girl power fight scene at the last battle blahhhhhh.

Sounds like opening week worldwide is on the order of $1.2 BILLION. 2.35% isn't chump change - another $28M just in the first week.

So, I went last week and watched it....was bored for a good part of the time and left disappointed.

I took my boys to see it this weekend and LOVED it.

LOVED IT!!!! Marvel is a monster!! They did not disappoint with this movie, the scene with all the women was amazing! I cried several times throughout at the end. It was just an overall amazingly done movie!

Saw last week where they are going to bring it back out to try and break the all time record. 54 million short of all time record. I'll probably go see it again.

meh....as a big time Marvel buff, I saw the "Girl Power" scene at the end to be extreme virtue signaling. Since when was Gwyneth's character a super hero?

Marvel, in my opinion, has done an awesome job of giving female characters strong roles throughout the series in a way that actually incorporated their skills into the storylines in a natural way. They didn't need the SJW approach to "look, women are powerful too!". Just, make them powerful without the obvious pandering to the SJW crowd. Same can be said for Capt America's newfound calling as some sort of therapist.

Yeah wasn't a fan of the million woman march moment, but to be fair Gwyneth's Pepper Pots was a badass in IM3 when Tony threw his armor onto her.....a little foreshadowing of what was to come I guess.

Eh; way too long. Falcon as .... ( don't want to do a spoiler), no way, no superpowers. The hammer swap between characters, WTF ? The girl power scene, unneeded. Black Widow is plenty tough enough to cover the SJW needs. I'm glad this is the last one, I am ready for the Captain America actor to fade into obscurity and not think his opinion is newsworthy anymore. But, I am in for more Thor and GOTG.

Virtue signalling aside. Anyone plan to watch it again with the new scene(s) put in? Seems to me like a bit of a planned move re-releasing it with 7 more minutes of content. Just in time for the new spiderman too.. hmmm

The new scenes will be on YouTube soon, if they aren’t already.

The hammer swap made sense to me and was actually pretty awesome. Thor’s hammer could be wielded by anyone worthy of its power since that was the sorta spell that was cast on it by Oden. It was also cool to see how jazzed Thor got when it happened. My thoughts anyway, lol. I am really hoping Thor is in the next GOTG and they don’t leave him out and make up some reason he isn’t in it.

Captain America wielding Mjolnir was my favorite part of the movie. I've been waiting for it for years ever since the scene where he almost lifted it.

same here

but if thor went back in time, and brought molnir back to the present with him - where was molnir during the time between his mothers death and the present.
