I seem to have come down with a mild cold, possibly suffering from allergies. Slightly runny nose, bit of coughing, feeling a bit woozy, no fever. Called work and my dentist (I had an app) figuring I should. Neither wanted to see me.

My company generally is not very fond of people calling in sick, they appreciate it if you drag yourself to work no matter what. But in this case they did not want to take the risk, I guess.

Am I being a chicken? Problem is not everybody that catches the new bug gets a fever and I can not positively promise that it's just allergies or a normal cold.

My allergies are in full swing, but they always are around this time. Sneezing, runny nose, a little cough.....I can clear a store if need be, lol. Be cautious is all I can say.

Our doctors' office just sent out an email telling you to call, rather than come in, if you are coughing, sneezing, congested, runny nose, etc.

I had to go to the Dr today for a Blood Pressure medication follow up. I was also feeling a bit run down with a slight cough and stuffy nose (pretty sure I picked up a crud from one of the students at Sage this weekend). I almost didn't say anything because minus the shortness of breath the symptoms fit the Rona, although I didn't know if I had a fever.

So I told them I'd like to get seen for a cold. They immediately start asking lots of questions. I busted out laughing and said this is driving y'all crazy isn't it. They laughed and told me you have no idea. The protocols have already changed 6 times today (this was at 9:30 this morning). I told them I'm pretty sure it's just a crud or possibly because my BP has been up all week.

So the Doc does a check of everything and I don't have a fever and confirms it was probably BP related.

I had a routine ā€œWellness Visitā€ last week. Thatā€™s where they ask whether you have any slippery rugs in the house or have memory issues (I asked, ā€œLike not remembering why Iā€™m here?ā€). The big medical center seemed to me like the most unhealthy place in the county. NOBODY taking care of what they touch, the Purell machines empty. Why did I go????

I noticed this morning on the car that we're starting to get the annual yellow pine infestation. A LOT of people get sick with the runny nose, hacking and coughing this time of year. I am sure it's going to turn the confusion into full on pandemonium.

The "yellow snow" is in full effect here. Gets me every Spring. Runny nose and watery eyes.

Yep, last night my eyes and nose cut loose. Red Jeep is now orange in appearance.

Pollen season sucks. My wife and kids quarantined me to my man cave for a couple days. Told them it was allergies. My bourbon stash took a beating. Had to go replenish it today. :p

Off topic and FYI: Food Lion in Raeford has no TP, and I got the last few rolls of generic PT. Kleenex is almost gone.

The world is going nuts.

My Dr's office called at 7:30 this morning asked if I wanted to reschedule my physical and they would call in all my meds for 3 months. Uhm yes please.

my allergies have been in full force for three weeks now.

Bought N95 masks on Sunday morning to do yard work. Got lucky I suppose.

Iā€™m vomiting out of my ass with a 104* temperature and coughing like an chain smoking emphysema patient. Should I see a doctor?

I remember the days when you used to have to talk about blowing up Gypsy markets and flying planes into buildings to have black vans show up outside the house. I feel like once I hit ā€œpostā€ the .gov computers are going to pick up those symptoms and send some plastic-clad warriors my way. Oh how times change.

I was dealing with allergies this past weekend. At the store I sneezed once and caught the attention of several.
But, it was just allergies - sneezing, runny nose. I felt great, no other symptoms.
Now Im good.

I have been doing rails of zyrtec all weekend allergies are still kicking my ass. On the plus side folks finally give me the space I deserve

Two tablespoons of local honey and quarts of Flonase now. Keep hydrated with juice and stuff. Most allergy meds drive BP up, Claritin HBT is half ass but better than nothing. Shower every night to get pollen off. Blow nose a lot. Etc.

Zyrtec didn't save me from a sinus and ear infection. Allergies are going nuts. Thought I caught the beer virus.
