Got my order in, don't really need 500 and happy to split at my cost delivered plus mail to you.

Looking forward to experimenting once I dig up load data. Apparently these come highly recommended from certain forum members . . .

I’ve never heard of such heavy bullets for 38cal. Is it actually for knocking over heavy plates and pins at a match?

I think it's also for increased backthrust to swage the fireing pin bushing into place!

It’s the ultimate defense round in a 38 snub. The load I came up with would probably be tough on a revolver with continued use, but that was never a concern. Only need 5-6 to work. Running 800-900fps out of a snub, you can bet your ass it would knock things over. We named it Wadfuckers.

I’ve shot a few of these rounds, and they are NOT for those who are recoil sensitive! They are extremely hard hitting and move steel with authority.

Would you be willing to share the recipe via PM?

I was thinking of tagging you in the thread. I figured you and @BatteryOaksBilly had sent a few of these down the pipe. What set of dies do you use seating these bullets?

And @Etruett if you wold be so kind, I’d like to know the recipe myself.

I use Lee dies same as I would for regular wadcutters. Seat them to the top crimp groove and of course use a much tighter crimp.

I seem to remember finding Penn's website when I was searching for these before - isn't Penn's the company that closed down after the owner passed away?

Apologize, my manners suck this evening.
Thanks @Etruett
Nothing wrong with your manners and I was not dodging your question about the recipe. I don’t remember right off and nor sure I wrote it down. When I loaded the wadfuckers, I loaded 50-60 and I’m sure that’s a lifetime’s worth. This is not a load that you g.o out and shoot 3-4 cylinder fulls to test. it’s brutal with a j frame size snub. In a heavy N frame gun its very manageable but that’s not a carry gun.

This is such a horrible medium sometimes, lol.
I don't believe you were dodging the question.
There are times I just start talking to my coworkers for example, like a conversation had already been taking place - no hello, how are you doing - just plop, right into it and I realize that I need to back up and start over - with some kind of manners.

The computer is not capable of INFLECTION.....I have to be Very careful about writing. I constantly remind myself that I'm Not Talking.

I copied several entries from Cast Boolits, but this article seemed best to share.
