…… So I just got my Wold9SD out of jail and...… as I'm giving it a lookover the baffles clips are not aligned. One is at 6 o'clock, another at 9, another at 2:20 and so on. From what I have learned the clips are aligned...…. I sent an email to DeadAir, but I'm sure I won't hear anything until Monday or Tuesday.

Does anyone have a can or have seen a silencer in which the clips are not supposed to be aligned?

I was reallllyyyy hoping to take it for a test run today or tomorrow...…..

Perfectly normal. There was a thread on ARF not too long ago discussing it with that exact can (I think) and Todd piped in with some info. Let me see if I can find it.

@BowWow

This is the one I remembered. It started out talking about the Nomad, and then went to the Wolfman. I didn’t read the last page or so, so the Wolf might have also been mentioned.

There’s also a link in there to Reddit that probably had some decent info, but I didn’t follow it and read whatever was there.

Read the entire thread above and pay close attention to what Todd Magee (Mageever) posts.

Short version is that it doesn’t matter. It was initially done to minimize POA/POI shift, which you normally get with single clipped baffles in perfect alignment.

Yes, all was good. They offered to align the clips but assured me it would not effect the performance of the can in any way. To triple verify...… I gave it a test run which went awesome.
