2 months...order was not placed until May 19th.

You aren't the only one. One barrel is for mine, then I have 8 other people waiting on Hansons

Oh I know, I was going from the time the thread was started. I'm just not a patient person haha. Got all these other parts staring at me every time I open the safe

I've got 10 lowers 7 uppers then in 308 2 uppers and lowers

Called them first thing this morning. Then had my rep send email so I could show you guys. This whole experience has been nothing short but a pain in the ass. There wasn't enough barrels to get to our order.

I have absolutely nothing against you. I understand that you don't control manufacturing of a company that you are not a part of but that doesn't make it less frustrating. Understand that my frustration is in no way directed at you, just the general situation. You would think that if a company can't keep items in stock that they are obviously doing well enough to reinvest in themselves and restructure supply chain and manufacturing to meet demand.

I understand, remember I’m waiting on the Hanson’s to. There’s little more to the story, depending how BA handles it, determines if I go public with it.

A lot steams back from March, things went nuts. Their material supplier couldn’t make enough raw stock to feed to them. Huge backorders, ar “scare in March”, etc. One of their customer’s orders took 2/3 of the order of Hanson that were put on the self. I requested that if any body got a orde through online that those barrels be allocated to us, since we been waiting for them.

I will say, if you get in to precision rifle you’ll have to be patience. Order a stock in Dec, got it in Aug/September.

unfortunately there is nothing I can really do. I honesty wish I never did this because of how much of a pain in the ____ it's been and frankly makes me look bad. Yes it's ridiculous but showing my butt isn't going to get things done faster. In reality, they need to have a strong look at their through put vs demand. These aren't high # production barrels.
 
Is it possible to pull the rest of our order and just issue refunds? At least the people that already got their barrels got a good discount. I'm sure I'm not the only one who doesn't want to sit on a seemingly endless backorder.
 
I doubt it due to the barrel min, we had to meet to get the pricing we did. I'll ask but doubt it, plan to give them a call around noon.

For my part, if they can give you a hard date for delivery I'd be willing to wait a bit longer. Otherwise, if they can't tell you when they plan to ship the product I would also prefer a refund so I can purchase a barrel from another manufacturer.

Sorry you got jammed up in this, understand it isnt your fault.

Just the 556. 300's are currently in production. I'm boarded rude to the rep because of how long this has been dragging out, I didn't hold back in how I felt about this experience. They ended up taking orders from a someones big order and giving me the amount of barrels I need, at least for the 556. There wasn't any 300 in the facility.
 
When are the 556 barrels supposed to get to you Dustin? I got some more parts in today. All that's left to get is a gas block
 
Hi Dustin, any chance the barrels will arrive in time to go to the range this weekend?
 
I'm picking them up tomorrow. Worked from home Monday. Didn't show, call post office asking wtf is going on. Gave some excuse about not getting put on the right truck. Wife gets home today and there is a note saying I need to sign for them. I called USPS back, told them to hold them I'll go up there on my lunch.

I'm gearing up to install air line/electrical and get shear line prep for install Monday-Tuesday. I can meet you in Cary or Welcome to stop my the family business in garner. Plan is to get them tomorrow, package them up and ship them the Thursday. You should have it Friday but it's USPS, I wouldn't hold my breathe
