All of you have fun and be safe. My plans got changed yet again, with work having a mandatory work day Saturday. So, here I am, came in at 5:30 and working till 1, THEN finishing up Alex's move. My view, and not the one I want, haha.

I want to thank you for a great time! Sorry I had to leave early. I enjoyed meeting some fantastic people. I hope y'all do it again soon and I will plan better so I can stay longer. I felt right at home with all the cowboy hats and wheel guns strap on. Great host and great people!!!! Thank you!!!!!

Me and the Mrs also had a great time!!
It was especially good to put together faces & names/handles and meet a few folks I hadn't before.
There were a few faces that looked familiar, probably from the gun shows.

I just got home, ran in the house just in time not to have an accident in my jeans.... again.

Thank you Billy, and Ronnie Sue for hosting. And it was great to see everyone and meet some new folks.

We had beautiful weather, beautiful people (except for that guy, you know who you are), and a safe day. We had about 30 people show up and everyone had a great time. It was good to see some old friends and make some new ones. A lot of rounds were fired and we ate some good food. Many, many thanks to our gracious hosts, @BatteryOaksBilly and Ronnie Sue.

Psshhh...I see at least one CrossFit veteran in those pics. I’m staying away from that one.
Yeah...shes a pretty damn good shot from concealment and on the atm drill. Let's just say I'm keeping her happy from now on unless I want to disappear [emoji16]

It was pure joy to watch her have fun at something that normally wouldn't be on her radar, and she had a BLAST doing exercises on steel. Big confidence boost and I think she is getting much more comfortable with on body carry.

And now...the sorta kinda mushy stuff.

To @BatteryOaksBilly: man, your excellent place and all the fun we had is more than I had hoped for. I also gained some confidence doing drills and learning things with good folks around me. Thanks for being such a gracious and generous host, especially with your time. And Ronnie Sue, your cooking made any trip worth the drive even if I never handled a gun.

However I definitely handled some guns that I put on the bucket list, shot a few more and got to watch people shoot mine. Thanks to @Geezer for all hard work you did today, you can paint my targets for me any time [emoji16]

Everyone else, it was a pleasure seeing and shooting with you today, and I wont miss another one unless it's for a funeral or a wedding, and even those are probably gonna be optional.

Hope everyone made it home safe, and can't wait til next time [emoji2]

What a fantastic day! Thanks to Billy and Ronnie Sue for letting me come down and have so much fun and learn a lot of stuff. The company was great, the food was too, and the guns....oh my, the guns!!! Lol. What more could an old lady from Wagram ask for in a day....oh yes, the weather was perfect!
It was great to be around all these experienced shooters, and getting another newbie interested in shooting more than she has been. We might have another p238 owner soon. She did good!
Thanks, y'all, for sharing the knowledge with me!
I'll be back!!!

You and Mrs. Ik made the old Battery Oaks come alive today. The trees stand taller when there's gunfire and smoke in the air. To All the others who came and the ones that couldn't YOU make this place what it is. Thanks for sharing your most precious commodity....Time, with us today. Geezer will be posting in the near future when the Big gathering will be, sometime in October. Geezer is my Pard and makes it so we can do this. I know you and I appreciate his effort.
We hope to see ya'll at Chad's for the BBQ. Dammit Boy, I am looking forward to that!!!
Butter and ole Brangus, wellllll, we'll catch ya'll later! Thanks to the owners of CFF for letting us use their "umbrella" to promote these wonderful times.
As Always, any of you in the area are welcome to stop by.
As the moon shines across the ponds, Mr. and Mrs. Johnny are celebrating her birthday in the Bunk House. Stay warm and we'll see you in the morning!!!

I hate that this location is 200 miles from my driveway. :(

Im jealous.
It’s 191 from my driveway. No excuse Daniel, no excuse. I went down yesterday, hung out and came home yesterday cause I got the crud .

I won't mention any names to protect their identity but, several people took the opportunity to shoot my Hi Point carbine.
Hell I shot it, it shot good, and it wasn’t the only hi-point there
