Battery Oaks Range January 26, 2019

I won't mention any names to protect their identity but, several people took the opportunity to shoot my Hi Point carbine.
I shot it and enjoyed it. It was absolutely equal fun to my 9mm Jusr Right carbine that cost 3 times more.

The ONLY edge i would give to other platforms is due to limited mag capacity fot a hi point.

I was hoping to get to shoot the .50 BMG at the steel, but I didn't want to shut down everyone enjoying the pistol shootn. Next time maybe.;)
Yeah, make sure I'm there for that one!
And how many handguns were there, do you think? It was crazy! I loved it!

I didn't get to shoot it but that had to be an aftermarket stock cause it looked good.
Sorry that you didn't get a chance at it. That's the original stock. They called it camo but it's just different colors molded into the stock.

You musta been ready to get away as fast as possible yesterday, you left $100 wortha ammo laying on a table!!!! Gunbelt left a Lead Sled and Doose left a box of specialty ammo. Ima shoot it All!!!!!!

NO, she wants to watch someone else shoot it, though. I want to see the fire blow out the end.
Go back and look at the pictures from the October meet and greet. There are pictures and videos of the .50 BMG in action.

On a side note Gunbelt came closest to killing the Wizard of all who shot and failed. I think SVT150 was the only shooter to kill the Wizard. He is back today asking for a rematch.
And, @doose did a very respectable job on the Wizard......shooting a Kel-Tec P-32!!!!!!

The safety was the only thing that hindered @gunbelt from kicking some Wizard butt.

Yes, I saw those, and now I need to see it in action for real! Looks exciting!
Thanks for all the pictures from yesterday, btw....I completely forgot to get my camera out! Too much gun excitement and info-gathering going on....my head might explode!

I would have loved to stay longer, but I was very tired, and needed to get home to Paula.
Shoot that ammo if you like, or we will shoot it if I get back.;)

Birthday girl an I made it home a bit ago.

Billy, I cannot begin to thank you enough for you and RS's hospitality!
Second to none.

I already miss the bunkhouse, the smile I had last night falling asleep with the smell of gunpowder still in the air, priceless..

We both had a great time! Sandi enjoyed her birthday weekend and can't wait for our next visit.

Johnny and Sandi Lee left in such a hurry they left behind a Spencer 12 gauge pump shotgun. Last patent date 1882. I'm thinking of some "crow" killing with ole boy! A man couldn't have better company than these two.
I think all in attendance in the Gun Room into the later hours will have to agree the greatest bit of info passed on into history was given by Gunbelt.......Don't render bear fat on the kitchen stove OR boil bleach in the house!!!!!!! We laughed our asses off!!! What a grand time!! Thanks to all from an old fat man!!!!!!!!

A big thank you to @Geezer as well for all you do, running yer ass off all day doing those thankless jobs, you are a good man!
You wrote that just like I told you. :D

Who????????
That guy running around painting targets and what not.. A little taller and a little better looking than you..

You enjoy that for awhile and show it to all that might care to see. . . As far as the company, the feelings are very mutual all around, you might have to put up with me while the ladies do their quilting things, whatever that is..:D

"Oh yeah, I can make you a pair of moccasins, but"

And just like that, you lost all of your credibility.

Wow Greg, our spool o guns looked pretty thin in comparison.
I know it. I could bring all I've got and it would still be empty compared to the others!
I could not believe the quantity of firearms on the property and I'm sure I didn't see 'em all much less shoot 'em all.
It was almost too much. Nah, I take that back.
What a perfect day it was, spent with some good folks. And the food!!!!!
Was nice meeting everyone and thanks for letting me run yer guns.
And The wizard knows it aint me to worry about, it's @gunbelt !!

To Billy and your wonderful wife, Thank you so very much for your hospitality, and sharing your time with me.

I had a great time with all & as last time, time was too short with all you folks & at Battery Oaks. I don't shoot much these days but I do enjoy it when I can with folks like all of yall.
Billy, I had a great time swapping stories in the Battery Oaks Museum & Emporium with everybody.
Hope to see you again soon.
BTW my daughter just loves her little white handled revolver.
