For the competition, the shooter would sit at a table, handgun placed in front of them where they wanted, and the gun covered with a napkin. The gun would be ready with 5 rounds loaded. Targets were 7 yards away. The shooter would start with both hands on the table.

At the sound of the timer, uncover the gun and shoot all 5 of the top targets. Five hits were required to advance to the next round.

The top 5 shooters competed against each other. The drill was the same as the first round with the exception was that this time they would shoot the bottom targets. It was a lot of fun and everyone had a good time doing it. This forum has some good shooters! For some, it was their first time shooting with a timer.

When the dust had settled, we had our winners.

1st Place $100 was won by @RaceRedGT
2nd Place $50 was won by @Catfish
3rd Place $25 was won by @Johnny
4th Place a knife and a Battery Oaks hat was won by @Stick Man
5th Place a knife and a Battery Oaks hat was won by Spencer (I don't know his screen name)

Thanks to all that shot and congrats to all of the winners. If anyone has any pictures of the competition, please post them here.

That was a hoot! Many thanks to @BatteryOaksBilly and @Geezer for putting that on. And many thanks to whomever sponsored the prizes.

Billy, your few words of advice, priceless! Thank you!
Carolina Firearms Forum sponsored the top 3 prizes. Battery Oaks sponsored 4th and 5th.

sounds fun.
any action vids and times?
Hopefully someone has some video to post.
The first three shooters that had five hits to advance to the money round were within .08. The times were 4.71, 4.72, and 4.79. I don't have the paper in front of me now but the winning score was still less than 5 seconds. We have some good shooters on this forum.

My time on last round was 4.2 iirc

that's awesome! Good shooting guys. Wish I could've seen it live :/
I was there and it happened so fast I don't think I saw anything. ;)

We have to wait another year?????

Have Ham Bog, will travel

I thought I had sampled and indulged in every known Southern delicacy until I stumbled upon that ham bog Randall cooked on Saturday. Well done Mr. Randall...……..well done sir.
