Bayonet for short barrels

I’m assuming this isn’t a thing, right? Best I could find from a search you’d have to do some serious modifications to put one on an 11.5” barrel…unless you were willing to install one of those 5.5” long flash hiders, right?

Good luck finding one. Someone was making dissipator bayonets, but I doubt there's one for that length out there. Only way is to buy a cheap one and cut it apart/put it back together.

I’ve seen those many years ago. So it’s something to look for, but it’s been awhile.

You could get one of the old school front sight light mounts like this one combined with one of the other mounts

I did run across that in my search. But it means swapping my gas block out, and possibly the muzzle device. Not out of the question, but nothing urgent.
