BCA

Yep. Conditional free shipping if you order more than $300…
Now I can’t decide if I’m thrifty or principled. Could order a 16” 5.56 as well and have the two uppers I want. Or give them no business for their shadiness.

I was thinking about buying a lower as well, but decided it wasn’t worth it and just bought the upper.

Ordered a stripped lower and LPK for this one, and the $99 sale Triggertech duty trigger. Should have a nice little pistol for under $400.

Anyone have a preference for cost effective .300 blk range ammo for plinking/break-in? It's going to be ages before my Omega 300 gets here, so I can buy subs at a later date.

Well I guess I'm going to find out if BCAs bufferless 9mm upper works. Got the 5" model coming, mostly because I wanted one to use with my SBR lower when the stamp gets approved.

This has the same 1913 rail on their rear stub tube so I should be able to run it in the config I have in mind for the 22lr upper, with a little spacer to keep the CMMG bolt where it's supposed to be now there's no buffer retaining pin.

Bloody monkey see, monkey want lately. My only defence is it was on sale for $209 and comes with the lower adapter bits.

Edit. I'm a moron lol. Rear charge 22lr upper isn't going to work with a lower with that extension on it. Guess this is going on a different lower then.

Just curious Matthieu of your thoughts and opinion on what you bought. As I was reading through seen some on both sides of the fence lol. But really curious about what you think about what you bought and your experience. Thanks and be safe!

Happy 4th of July!

Ha, I still haven’t, super indecisive. I don’t like their marketing/shipping deal, seems a bit shady and that often pervades a company. Other little stuff too. Still I like the idea of a side charger and a slightly longer pistol, but was thinking about the CA complete pistol for $329.

Otherwise been thinking I’ll go ahead and build a 5.56 rifle first with a PSA upper. Was waiting for today to see if any sales would drop. Doesn’t look like it so will probably just pick something and order tonight.

I gotcha buddy! Was looking at a 350 legend upper from BCA but I just can’t get the nerve to bite the bullet lol. As far as building one IMO it’s not as hard as some make it out to be. Fairly easy to build one and in the long run cheaper! I have a Delton, couple of Radical’s, an Anderson rifle and a pistol, and a Spike’s Tactical in 7.62x39 in a pistol configuration. No complaints with any I have. Quality of internal parts do make a difference in a build IMO! My first AR was an American Tactical and I wish that I wouldn’t have parted with it! But it’s to late to now! As long as you are happy with your purchase and it performs well for you that’s all that matters man. Took enough of your time and anyone else reading this time also!

Everyone have a wonderful 4th and be safe!

My 7.5” stainless side charger showed up last week. Very small ding in the hand guard and flash hider, but otherwise seems well made. Machining is clean, bolt lockup is good with no excessive play, etc. Don’t have my lower yet to test it out but nothing seems glaringly wrong, especially for the price. Mine came with the thin curved charging handle rather than the round knurled style.

Damn, those came quick! Alright

Ive looked a little at 350 Legend too, was talking to a friend about it on Saturday and it just made things harder. The biggest draw to me is that they carry it in Walmart and it’s similar to 300BLK.

Damn those arrived quick! Glad to hear the quality is on par.

Looks like the topic has been well established but I'd like to chime in with another +1 for bca uppers. First, though i do live just a hop and a skip away from their plant, I've had an order process and deliver in under 48hrs. Then I lost the half moon screw that goes in the back of their side charging receivers, where a charging handle would live in a standard milspec upper, and they had x2 in my mail box 3 days later free of charge.

I have more than a few but less than plethora of their .30 caliber offerings, and they've all kinda just worked for me. The -previously pictured- is my favorite due to taking down a lot of bacon and 2 bucks with it to date. It now serves as a plinker and a fun, not my lifeline reciver, way to give friends and family the giggle factor of shooting suppressed 220gr .300blk.

I have had to replace the bolt twice in one of my 7.62x39 bcg's(the second time I bought a Faxon bcg and the jury is still out due to round count) and replaced a few firing pins(of which they sent me new ones every time free of charge) but otherwise my various uppers from them have been suspiciously well functional, and comically inexpensive.

I wouldn't leave one out to join me in addressing a bump in the night, and I'd shame anyone who does. But for a baller on a budget like myself, they sure have worked well enough to keep a browser tab open to their website so I can check in for sales. I've never tried to remove a barrel on one, but a 7.5" .300blk upper had the barrel nut come loose in under 100 rounds once, so now I check that on anything I've gotten from them, but so far, it was a one off instance. For me anyways.

I had a .308 upper for a bit, it did fine for the $300. If I was after a tack driver I'd go else where but this was budget driven.
