The latest addition to the list is the husband of one of my SIL's.
Congestive heart failure. Just got moved to hospice. His systems are shutting down due to the weakened heart.
He has only a few days left.
The family just got their brother's funeral arrangements done and now this on top.
Only a few months ago one her nephews was murdered. And a little over a year ago another nephew died under suspicious circumstances. His symptoms were closer to poisoning than anaphylatic shock (accidental or deliberate is unknown).
My wife is flying up in December for at least one funeral. Due to home stuff I can't go up with her.

Prayers for you all. Hospice people were great to us when Mom died....

My father had home hospice at the end of his battle with cancer. Much less antiseptic than a hospital.
It was a nice place for her to be, and they were great with the home care too. I'll always be grateful for their help!
I'm sorry your family has had so much pain. Hope it eases.

My father's passing was so quiet, we only knew because the alarm on his morphine pump went off. Lack of draw triggered the alarm. The nurse came and wrote up ToD as when she was there.

It's good you were there...though I know it's hard to watch a parent go...the hospice nurse called and told me Mom was going, so I got to be there. Long day!
