Beer Review #150: Thirsty Dog - Wulver Bourbon Barrel Aged Wee Heavy Ale!



Bottom line: Bourbon up front on the nose with a hint of dark fruit. Bourbon with slight alcohol burn up front with sweet, malty fruit at the back end. John tasted oak but I didn’t.

I’ve been pretty impressed with most of the bourbon barrel dark beers.

Only down side is the price on most of them. Like $25 for a large bottle. Yikes.
