Just was curious if anyone here is attending either of his classes
in Cary this weekend and Mon-Tue?

They're in Oxford. Guy that arranged them is out of Cary.

I'll be at the fundamentals class. I made a thread way back when registration opened, no one admitted to going this time, a couple members have gone in the past.

I was on his website yesterday and noticed it on the calendar. Hadn't seen any mention on here and was just curious that's all.
I probly couldn't afford it and most likely over my head anyway being a newb at competition!

The cost is pretty steep, and it's eating the whole weekend cause I'm not commuting home.

I've been playing this game for almost two years and pretty much bogged in C class. I will probably use what I learn from the class to evaluate whether I actually have the drive and ability to go further or if I should pick another hobby.

Other classes pop up from time to time, I think Ben B is planning to offer them pretty regular. I've seen Chris Tilley offer them on occasion. There are others none of them seem particularly well advertised, but if they fill why would they be.

I hope this class gives you some weapons and inspires you to practice more. It seems to me that practice discipline is what separates the good shooters from the mediocre ones, like me, lol.
Just a fun hobby to me, so without the drive to practice hard I accept a slow ascension! We'll get there some day man.

What NKD said.
I certainly can't say from experience as I'm a newb. But everyone I'm listening to and everything I'm reading for guidance is all about some practice.
Regular, structured, time-consuming practice.
Hope the class goes well and Good luck to you in your quest.
