Looking at picking one up in the morning.

Trying to decide on glass, this is a budget gun for now (I am trading a gun for it.)

I am considering the Primary Arms with the HUD for 308. (Caliber I am going with).

Anyone with experience on them?

Ive shot it a few times. It's a very slick rifle. Smooth bolt... all around a very nice piece.

Ive had the PA 308 hud scopes. theyre very nice for the money as well and would probably satisfy you

I am running a Vortex Viper 6x24x50 mil dot on mine. So far have stretched it out to 1030 yards on pig steel targets at Bangsteel in Bland, Va. Mine is a 6.5 Creedmore.

I did have to notch the feed ramp in order to load to mag length. Seems to be a common thing for 700 clones

I’m thinking a SWFA SS, I really love them, and not sure if the PA reticle is going to be accurate enough in hold overs with 168gr bullets. I think it’s geared towards 150s

I’ve considered moving my SWFA off of my 6.5grendel or my VIPER PST off of my 10/22.

Ideally I would run the same scope on the on 10/22 and the Bergara (22 and 308 have similar flight paths).

Yes, I prefer a precision reticle vs a "red dot/precision reticle" hybird.

What he said! Swfa is a lot better quality. That would prolly be the only budget scope I would go with. And with bdc's you will not be happy if you do any type of precision work.
