im sitting at my bench loading some CM and looking through my rifle books while my scale warms up... man have I been happy with bergers.
I used to only run hornady, due to price. Always found good accuracy with them but usually took a bit of load developing to do so. But they shot great. When I decided to switch over to the 140 hybrid... I never realized how UN PICKY these things are.

I did a ladder test starting at 41gr of 4350 and went to 42.8. I shot at the same spot, looking for elevations with speed increase. Used my chrono as well. It grouped 10 rounds with different charge weights at just under an inch. Settled on 42.8

Next surprise.... confuses my 6mm data with my 6.5, loaded 1 full grain less, at 41.8.. went to practice and found my loads 100fps slower than they should be... confused as hell... shot a 5 shot group to see what was up... under half inch... looked back at my book, I had grabbed the 6mm book when loading.

For anyone considering bergers.... DO IT

I used Berger's quite a bit until they became hard to find last year. Everywhere I looked they were out of stock or back ordered. So I switched to Sierra's and found that their accuracy is nearly as good as the Berger's. But I have to admit that when it comes to F-Class style matches I dig into my Berger stash. :)
