Well the waiting game begins. Paid for and submitted paperwork for an Optimus Micro yesterday after waiting several months for it to come back in stock.

I currently have several threaded guns. Ruger MK4 22/45. A Ruger 10/22 TD, an M&P 22 Compact that I’m fairly certain is threaded. Think I just need an adapter for that. Looking at getting a threaded Ruger American. I’m really happy with the trigger and build quality of the 22 mag one I have.

Suggestions besides the American on what bolt 22 to get? Is the 22Mag worth having threaded?

Someone recently posted a very sweet bolt gun I’d be checking out if I didn’t already have a couple bolt rimfires ... a Christen Ranger 22 ... https://christensenarms.com/ranger-22/ . Bentz chamber and carbon fiber 18” hand lapped threaded barrel plus a few other things like carbon fiber stock and adj match trigger. It’s a little more expensive than say a CZ at $795 MSRP but it’s a lot of gun for the buck.

I will always recommend a Savage fvsr. Low price and the shoot.
that's what i have.
keep it pointed in a safe direction because with subsonic and a can, you're not sure it's actually going off unless you can spot the dirt moving downrange.

That looks interesting, except for the “Rem 700 style trigger" part.

I run a Savage FVSR supressed and its fantastic. Quieter than my air rifle.

Savage FVSR. Already threaded, great trigger, excellent accuracy, low price (at the expense of a good stock, Boyds can fix that)

The S&W compact is great suppressed. I have a Ruger American Rimfire and really enjoy it but there is a decent POI change between suppressed and unsuppressed.

Tikka or CZ for accuracy. Savage for cost. Rugers are in the middle, but I'm not so much of a fan. They do take 10/22 mags though.

Winchester makes a decent 22mag subsonic round I believe, but it is 45grain, so not really gaining much over subsonic 22lr that can be found at 40ish grains pretty easily.
