Started a 9lb last night and finished this morning. Kept the Weber at 235 until the butt hit 204. Clavicle pulled right out after resting wrapped up for a few hours. It isn't pull yet, just left it as is wrapped in foil in the fridge. What is the best way to heat it backup for Easter dinner? Throw the wrapped butt in the oven for an hour at 350?

Throw it in a big pot with bacon, chicken, ground beef, peppers, limas, corn, onions, tomatoes, okra, stock, and powdered mash potatoes, then boil it for two hours.

Honestly, I’d pull it and then reheat in the microwave.

Any other way I’ve tried dries it out.
I normally just do the microwave with some sauce on it. It does seem to work better to pull when just off the smoker though. Pulling/shredding after refrigerating a full butt definitely makes it more difficult.

Pull how much you wanna eat and heat in a pan with pork stock.

Sauce and slow cooker has worked for me, but I’ve also undercooked when I know that I‘m going to need to reheat.

I think you need to pull it now, otherwise the core is gonna slowly settle below 140 and be there for hours before you eat.

Slow! Heat it slowly and don’t get it to hot or it will totally change the taste.

If I reheat in the microwave I’ll do a lb or so at the time at 50% power for a minute check the temp.

If in a conventional wrap it in aluminum foil 300 degrees for 20 minutes.

Pull it. Then Sous vide and then a few minutes in an oven to restore the bark.

I've put it in the microwave in a plastic bowl and added a little water in the bowl. Put a damp paper towel over it and heat for 3 to 4 minutes.

I'll second the Sous Vide option. You bring the whole thing up to 130 or so, then put it in the oven at 300 for 20 minutes, or until the bark is brought back to life. Save all the juices and mix it back in after you've pulled it.

Just jumped this hurdle for my son's court of honor. Sous vide, 165⁰ for 3hrs (threw some butter in the foodsaver bag, freezer bags work too). Tasted just like it came off the smoker

Little apple juice in the pan, covered in foil. Reheat to internal temp of 160. Should pull right apart
