Beto O'Rourke wants to ban sales of AR rifles.

The Democrats who want to run for President in 2020 will have to go way, way left to get the Democratic nomination. It will be interesting to watch how many independents are alienated by extreme and openly leftist positions.
 
My hope is they are going to self destruct on their own but maybe they finally have brainwashed enough kids in schools and imported enough voters to finally pull it off.

The traditional tactic is to go left to get the nomination and then play centrist to get support in the general election. What could happen, and I hope it does, is that they go so far left that when they try to go centrist they piss off both groups who hang them with their own petards and comments.

Over the weekend O'Roark came out with the message "capitalism is racist." "Fighting climate change is like D-Day". I've seen a lot of commentary that younger people feel excluded from this economy, and free-bees will win their votes of course. This turning is coming too fast and the opposing message seems to be sitting on the sidelines. About 12 months to get their opposing statements, and oval office tweets ain't going to cut it.

From his wealthy Daddy in laws friends most likely. He is a spoiled rich kid and a fraud. The Bernie crowd, aka true believers, will abandom him once they know who he is. O’Rourke is what you get when you raise spoiled children and allow them unfettered access to bongs.

He’ll stay right of Harris, doesn’t need the true believers for funding or to win the primary and then the general election will be too important for the far left not to support him.

Take a look at the ethics reports from the TX election, he brought in a lot of small online donations.

And to be fair, how was his upbringing any different than say Trump’s?

Do you think drug use will deter his base? If it can be proven that he raped someone he might have an issue.

I’m not a fan of his positions, but he’s been about as successful as a candidate can be without actually winning.

Seriously who cares about this guy, I think he was picked out of a hat by the PTB and now i have to hear his name pop up. I have never heard of him. I am not sure what he did other than lose a race. You guys will be much saner if you just stop watching TV news and daily glance at Drudge.

If you have to ask you haven’t read much on him. Just because 2 people grow up wealthy doesn’t mean they grow up the same.

Does this mean it's acceptable to meet their rallies and protests with entrenched belt fed machine gun and mortar fire? I mean that's the way they did it back then....

Since I don't have an MG34, 42, 8cm Granatwerfer etc I can only volunteer as an assistant gunner, but I'm down to carry ammo crates etc.
