Better than Duke's?

That is what your wife is for.
Not my wife.
She's good for a lot of things, but suffering messy people isn't one of them. I happen to agree with her that if you messed it up, you better clean it up. My floors and toilets are cleaner than most kitchens as a result.

Sorry your wife isn't good at it.

I always tell my wife that I was born in the wrong generation. My dad went to work, cut grass and played golf. My mom did everything else. She cooked, cleaned, washed clothes, took care of the kids and worked! I clean the house, cut the grass, wash my own clothes, cook sometimes and wash dishes most times!

Just say now to anything but Duke's, Herman's, or even Kirkland.
No sugar in these.
Kewpie is crap. Lots of sugar in it.
Tried some in China. Yuck.

My mom took care of everything inside. My dad everything outside.
He did breakfast on the weekends.
Funny how things have evolved.

Actually, the only person I have ever seen put ketchup on his scrambled eggs, is the complete opposite of what you described.

Born and raised in Marshville, NC. Served in Vietnam. Worked for Ma Bell, until they "retired" him after 30something years and the break ups. Went on to become an electrician for the county school system, then was hired on as a Deputy and transporter for our county. He finally retired from that this year, and he's in his early 70s.

But I'm sure he's an anomaly.
Does he have diabetes?

The only person??......you need to get out more is all I can say. I challenge you to go to any Cracker Barrel and observe those eating breakfast and tell the same thoughts you stated.

No, to the diabetes, and no thanks to getting out more. Your opinion was more than enough.

Hell, I keep a jar of bacon/sausage grease in the fridge. Granny used to keep it in a tim on the oven, but I prefer the fridge.

It depends. Do you actually like the taste of eggs?

I now have two mayos in my arsenal; Duke's (of course) and now, Kewpie.

I've been watching a fellow's cooking channel on YouTube, and anytime he uses mayo, he pulls out this bottle of "Japanese mayo." [/USER]

“Sam the Cooking Guy”?
He turned me onto kewpie about two years ago. That and avocado oil. I buy mine in two packs from amazon. And my avocado oil at Costco. Last bottle got me through damn near a year.

Indeed.

Two pack from Amazon and picked up some avocado oil a few weeks ago.

I bought his garlic press too a while back. Mine doesn’t seem to work quite as well as his as far as stripping the skins. Not sure if it’s because his is older model or “tv magic”. I don’t have an intern sitting beside me when I cook to make sure things go smoothly lol

Eggs taste great by themselves.

They taste great with Texas Pete or diced
Jalapeño !!

But they also taste good with ketchup, mustard, jam, A-1, cocktail sauce and just about anything else you might put on them.

If you can find it here, HP Sauce in any of its varieties is the best thing with fried eggs.

Curiosity gets the better of me and I order some from Amazon. I think it's carried at Costco, too, but there's not one near me.

In my opinion, it's good. Really good. It is less tart than Duke's, but has more egginess and is rich.

There we go, folks. Another useless thread started by @kcult

Did you really just @ yourself?

I used to eat ketchup on scrambled eggs until I got stationed in Texas and discovered salsa on scrambled eggs.

Neither is mustard. It's a mayo alternative and not bad.

Apples and potatoes comparison on the mayo and mustard.

There is no mayo alternative. This is the way. ;)

I had my first of several in Germany. Absolutely delicious.

When I stumbled across a shop in Kent, that's all she wrote!

And even when you can find kebabs here, no one ever does the good hot kofta sort.
