Big news from Glock!!!

Is this the first time glock has done a pre-announce thing? And my follow-up is "why"? As if they fix a typo on their web site and everyone doesn't know within an hour. Drop something major, we'll all know.

If they really wanted to build some hype.... take pre-orders. $25 non-refundable deposit to get a spot in line for whatever it is. Make millions!

That would actually be cool. I could order a Glock to spec from the factory. The sites, trigger parts, marine cups, slide color etc... Front Serrations!!!

I've often thought a build an AR store would be a good idea.

Have stations with all the tools, helpers for the trickier parts and tons of AR bling and tacticool stuff to run up their bill. Offer his and hers honeymoon AR build experiences with photos and a firing range portion. You could sell people all the bits, soup to nuts and cases and mags etc besides.

And if I see one open around here I at least want credit and maybe a free go lol

I'll go with a carbine. they're WAY overdue for a slightly different product.

PSA could actually do this.

For the win...modular glock internals for multiple frame swaps...

Of course it could be the new Gen 5 .40 caliber. Where Glock reintroduces .40 S&W to the masses.
Those already exist in the world (Sao Paolo police got them). There was also a .40S&W variant submitted for MHS I believe. IIRC the Gen 5 .40S&W variants have the thicker .45ACP/10mm slides (similar to the small frame .45GAP Glock 37).

I'm guessing that or some sub compact MOS variant though I think the slide on the 43x and 48 is a bit thin IIRC for even the smallest red dots.

People have been using them with dots quite a bit. The RMR hangs over a little. But the Shield dot sits pretty flush.

They are attempting to duplicate what Springfield Armory did with the big announcement for the Saint.

Hmmmm.....a glock buy back program. Swap your ol glock for a new improved version. Side note on new guns....made from 30% post consumer recycled glocks. Liberals cant argue against recycling...minds blown...gun debate solved.

Maybe we're going to finally see an actual ceramic Glock?

One rumor I heard floating around but can’t confirm is it’s a .22 LR. I’m sure whatever it is, it will be blocky, polymer, and mostly black in color.

A high cap small gun to compete with P365?
If they can get the grip better than Sig did. I had a 365. Sold it and still carry the 43.
Who would have ever thought that Glock could win against any other grip, and with four less rounds.

I like the P365, but i only carry it with the extended grip of he 12 rounder.

So no leaked news yet? Come on, we get to know about the latest apple gizmo long before it is announced, why can't we find out what sort of slide and frame combo they've come up with at Glock this time?

Come on 26x! Slide from a 26, frame from a 19, drop a 33rnd mag in there and end the +1 upmanship wars!
