I have an extremely heavy ar15 pistol because of the scope and battery pack. I need something to hold it steady when shooting at yotes. I may just move this to person defense since I purchased a Ruger RAR.

Even having the Sig brace bothers me even though I don't shoulder it.

Thoughts or resources to point me towards?

Your Coyotes will wait around for you to set up a stick or employ a bi pod?
The ones we got...you so much as blink and they run off..even if they're eating something.
Poof gone.

Who lives in the city? :)

NV battery pack.

So are you asking is it legal to put a bipod on a pistol - would that un-pistol it like a forward grip does? IDK, INTOT. But certainly the sticks would be safe since they are not attached.

Sidebar, check this bipod out! https://swaggerbipods.com/

If you're laying out for NV optics....what's another $200 for an SBR stamp so you don't have to worry about it?

SBR stamp was submitted last June. This is a temporary solution till I get that back.

I don't think there is any issue with the bipod on a pistol. I believe I've seen Ruger Chargers that come with a Harris bipod.
