Bison burger

Where can I go to get a Buffalo Burger. I’ve been wanting to try one for years.
What y’all experience impacted to beef?

I've had them. I like them as much, if not better, than regular beef burgers.

We’ve bought them at the supermarket and cooked them on the grill in the past when the boys were still at home. All good stuff.

They sell ground bison in nearly every Ingles I’ve been in to. It’s delicious.

Bad Daddy’s Burger Bar in Charlotte has them at their locations.
The best I’ve ever had was when we were out west in Yellowstone and Tetons. Nothing out east has ever come close to them.

Unless fat has been added you’re a fool if you cook or order one past medium rare.

It’ll turn into a hockey puck.

I know The Butcher's Market in Holly Springs carries exotic meat. Give them a call. If they don't have it they can get it.

Mike and I had over 300 pounds of Bison Burgers once......it is amazing how many friends you have when the news gets out......

I just saw one headed to the far western part of Virginia to meet the wife yesterday.

There is a dude that raises them where he used to have longhorns... You need a pretty hefty fence and no bulls in the same field, one will be killed by the other.

But man... bison burgers are the best. Put some cheese on them and top it off with a hunk of ham (not bacon) and you have a Western Montana burger. (Same with Elk too)

River Birch Lodge in Winston-Salem has a Bison Burger. Very tasty! It’s about 5 minutes from Wake Forest campus.
