Well I figured that part out. He got a 100k dollar bond to begin with so the 10k was probably just the payment to the bondsman. It sounds like it was just reported as surrendered to make it sound even better for this dumbass.

More to this then we will ever know, State Atty. Fox recused herself, attended awards event in California.
She wanted CPD to hand the case over to the FBI (it would be HUGE). CPD declined.
 
Jussie spent 18 hours over two days volunteering at the Rainbow Push Coalition.
That is run by Jessie Jackson in case you did not know that.
Jussie stuffed envelopes, helped sell items in the book store and so on and so on.
 
Read a few professional speculations on why the charges were dropped. Primarily, too much press by law enforcement tainting the jury pool and reducing the odds of conviction. I've seen this before when I dealt with a city "risk management" office. Even if they "know" a person is guilty they will withhold procecution until its a sure thing, rather than risk that person "winning" and never again facing conviction. Double jeopardy and all. Don't know if that specifically applies here.
When the procecutor was asked if he thought Smollett was innocent, he said, No.
One person brought out, that Smollett's top notch attys hadn't sued over deformation. A sign they can't.
 
I don’t pay conspiracies a lot of attention, but this one has all the makings...starting to think that the police and prosecution did all the “public information and trying the case at press conferences” for a reason! Jury tainting/claim of unfair trial (if it ever got that far). Also, this is Chicago...the historical capital of corruption in the US and it’s run by leftists...no way they were going to convict one of their own, especially when we was just fighting the good fight against Trump! Keep it classy, Chicago! ;)

The punishment for false witness should be at least as potent as the punishment that would befall the person witnessed against. Also, I saw the FBI is picking up the Smollet case. Great..........cause I trust the FBI to do a fair, unbiased investigation.......:rolleyes:

I am personally loving the fact that EVERYONE knew/found out that what he claimed is bs. It was plastered EVERYWHERE. The facts were out asap

Now "somehow" all charges are dropped...

But it's so blatant that even the political cesspool of garbage that is Chicago politics is calling foul..

I mean, come on. Dumbass filed a police report. "Attackers" were found. Paper trail proves they were paid by the accused for "something", they said it was to make him a "victim".

Dead to rights "caught in a lie" scenario. NOBODY COULD DEFEND THIS......

Yet for some reason people are mad.....

Some group of politicians just swung for the fences to show their power to make things disappear....

It seems to me that the power structure in Chicago and IL may be splitting. The old, white corrupt Dems are being replaced by the modren black Marxist Dems and all of the sudden they don’t like it. Old Chicago corruption was all about power and money. Not sure they all like Stalinist Commies taking over. And Obama Commies at that. It was all fine when Jesse and Jesse Jr. were blackmailing major corporations for their piece, but now they want the whole pie. This could be fun to watch. From afar.

Apparently it's not SOP based in the clerk's comments. Like it never happened. Serious power behind this one. You know the procecutor knew he was going to face serious scrutiny by dropping the charges. And he belived Smollett was guilty. But, don't worry, the fix is in. Everything will be handled. If he changes his tune too, that's some serious influence going on.
 
Lots of no confidence in Cook County prosecutor Kim Foxx by Police. Also city is seeking civil lawsuit against lying boy since he doesn't want to pay them back the $130,000.

Really?? This could bring the entire controversy back up again and in civil court and the burden of proof is less. Dodge a bullet and stand up to taunt the shooter? I suspect someone(s) are going to pay the money before it gets too far. I could only hope they don't and we see Smollett in court.

Geez, if SNL thinks he's guilty...:rolleyes:
