I wanted a big honking Blackhawk for shooting Ruger only loads. I found a previously owned 5.5" model, manufacture date of 2011. Original box and manual. In really great shape (as far as I can tell! I ordered some rosewood Altamont grips, to replace the original black plastic grips. I got a surprise when replacing the grips . . . there was an Internal Lock in place. And, there was no key to be found! To indicate my ignorance of Blackhawks, I was not aware that any Blackhawks ever came with an Internal Lock.

No big deal as far as the revolver's function but, it seems to me that where there is a lock, there needs to be a key! Anyone have an extra key they would be willing to sell me?

Did already. Brownell's shows they have them, out of stock, and no back ordering.

Mine came with a key. I've never used it and honestly couldn't tell you where it is right now. I personally wouldn't sweat it.

A generous member of another Forum sent me a couple of keys. I have no plan to use them, but they were the only thing lacking, of the original contents of the box. Gun folks are the greatest.
