Blade smith from Albemarle on Forged in Fire

Just watching Forged in Fire on History and one of the final two is from Albemarle. Haven't caught his name yet as I was half watching the first parts of it. They are making a Yatagan for the final blade and looks pretty cool.

His name is Gabe.

A few months back there was a guy on there from Avery Co. His last name was Hoffman. Just saw on a FB post where wait for his knives was more than 20 months!

There was a guy from angier on last year too. Came in a close second.

He just cut through 2.5 leg bones and his blade is only 1.5 pounds. Other guys had some chipping. He did well on the sharpness test too. He won it!

That Yatagan is pretty cool!

That Yatagan would be cool...seemed to be very light and about the length of a machete. His looked awesome. Guy that lost had a good looking one too but the edge and handle didn't hold up well.

so he used his skills to start making his own. The SNAP had a few good articles about him before he was on tv. I will try to post the link.
