Got an alert from the school as a text message that the school next door to my son's school was being evacuated to his school. Then got the news alert about the rest of them.

CNN: Bomb threats emailed to multiple locations across the country.

Immediately "day of wrath" came to mind... Thanks William

Day of Wrath definitely comes to mind. Overwhelm the emergency systems and "they" can have free reign to do what they want. Think of it on just a county or city level. How many schools are there, how many LE departments/agencies/EMS are there to respond to every threat in a small window? Scary stuff to think about.

DOW = Day Of Wrath....

It is like the blueprint that we all know is coming, the sheeple are grazing and they have no clue the wolves have teamed up. This was a scam bit, but interesting on how they escalated across the country isn't it? Almost like it was a foreshadowed teasing moment.

Interesting to consider that someone(s) might be able to initiate a DoW scenario without having to actually attack schools. It's like pulling a fire alarm. A lot could be done in the ensuing chaos.

There are probably a dozen bomb threats called in across America every day, they just don't become national news. This one was sent to the news so "Big story!".

Yep. I had some very spicy Chinese food for lunch one day last week so I called in a bomb threat to my coworkers before using the restroom.

Really not being smug or trying to sound so, but stuff like this makes me so glad we homeschool. Any crap happens here, the churlins will be on the armed response team.

Glad your son and his classmates are okay and this was a false start. Stay safe, brother.

The govt. agencies are like Pavlov’s dog. Easy to manipulate since they’re trained with a programmed response. In other news, nobody would ever take advantage of open email protocols and servers.

I like the caveat of deniable liability at the end.... We are not terrorists and we are not liable for any acts of terrorism in other places.... Ha~!
Like they said it's just business. Good old fashioned blackmail for money. No idiology or cause to support. Just greed.

Twenty grand? Wow, I valued my life at about a fifth of that, that'd have warmed my heart to say they felt I was worth that much!

Business idea for someone, start a "we will translate your scam email / fake bomb threat / etc into actual American English for $100" web site.
