Anyone local to zebulon or within 15-20 minutes of zebulon that has a gen 3 g19 upper I can throw on my p80 I just built just to ensure it all functions before I order my slide and whatever else I plan on doing to it?
I can supply barrel and ammo just need a slide and recoil spring. Can shoot it at your place or I can bring it home shoot a few rounds make minor adjustments if needed and bring it back. If not I understand just thought worth asking before I decide on a slide and order it.
I tried putting my g17 gen 3 slide on it but something isn't/wasn't right but hard to tell using the larger slide.
Maybe the g17 slide isn't supposed to work on the g19 frame but the trigger wouldn't reset, the slide just basically locked up wouldn't move unless pressing trigger and the slide wouldn't come off, I had to remove the backplate of the slide and push the firing pin to get the slide off.
