Anyone seen this?
It is worth watching.
Has the usual errors that Hollywood errors.
Female detectives wearing expensive tailored shirts that show off their shape.
A detective shooting one handed because his opposite should was shot. He's trying to requal. His finger position in the trigger is total noob, wrapped around.

Up to season 4 now. Binge worthy.

I have been watching all along. They incorporate concepts from several books into each season which is a little confusing if you've read them.

I'm a big fan of the books and Titus Welliver has started doing the narration of the audiobooks which is cool.

I like the TW narrations as well. I enjoyed the audiobooks better than the TV series. I suspect it's the "theater of the mind" thing .....

Yeah I’ve watched all of them. Been binging each season as it comes out. Good show.

I'm going thru the current season slowly. Feels to me like earlier seasons were better.

One thing I like about the Bosch series, especially the books, is all of the procedure and legwork that is indicative of real police work. They deal a lot with LAPD politics as well. No easy feat to accomplish and still have something readable.

One of the cooler creators of the show is his Cherokee.
Lifted, Off road racing seats up front. Look like Mastercraft Baja seats.

We watched the first episode last night. Hard to ration them and not binge all at once.

Lol, binged the entire season on the first day! Now what do I watch?

Season 6 is out! Crank the volume for the intro theme!

I'm a little behind the times, but I just watched seasons 1-5 up to episode 7 of 5. I started with season 6 because that's where my SO started me having watched the other seasons by herself. I am starting to get attached to the characters, and I hate to see it end. Crate and Barrel are hoots and add great flavor. It's been fun watching Maddie grow up as the seasons progress.

The Chief is one of fav characters. Very no-nonsense and not someone you want to cross.

Love this show. I’m gonna read the book now.

Read a few of the books. The series is a little tame for me, but on par with normal network cop shows. Mindless entertainment, but not horrible.

The books are procedural, much like real police work there are a lot of details and chaff to get through.

I laughed at this. I think you mean the 22 books and the spinoff series of Ballard and Bosch.
Rookie:p
Yeah, meant books lol that s will get ya every time!:D

This season seems like it's a little more "political" (taking digs at the right etc.) than the others, but given the rest of the garbage that comes out of hollywood, it's not too bad still.

I watched 2 episode and gave up. My bud down in Flo Rida recco'd this series. He said Bosch will shoot somebody with his 1911 in a heartbeat. I just dont like the dead pan "actor".

Starting this one tonight. Planning to watch all seasons…we’ll see.

Bosch was the only show that I was wanting more when it ended. There are some good characters in the show.

I liked it a lot. Spin-off is supposed to be 2022.

Rest assured I will be watching that as well. I've read most of the books and like the new Ballard and Bosch series too.

This one it seems is going to have him working as a PI and his daughter is going to be on the force. This didn't happen in the books though.

As usual, we're a little late. Starting kinda binging last week, just finished 2 episodes in season 2. We like it.

.

I enjoyed the series on Amazon very much too. Theme music kicks ass!

I’m reading through all of the Michael Connelly books now, including the Lincoln Lawyer and McEvoy ones. I will say that the new Renee Ballard series of novels aren’t quite as interesting.

I need to catch up. Really enjoyed the show, used to watch a few episodes at a clip when flying for work, but then COVID hit and I haven't flown since.

The main character is Hieronymus "Harry" Bosch.
I'd like to see him in recovery so he could be Annonymous Hieronymus.

In the books, he tells people who can’t pronounce his name that it rhymes with “anonymous”.
