Bought a new pair of binoculars

I went to Smokey Mountain Knife Works today to buy a pair of vortex binoculars 12x50 for 179 on sale was 229. They were sold out .

I bought a pair of Leopold Mckenzie 12x50 for 239 and had 5.00 off coupon. Man I'm amazed how great they are. I've only had about 20 dollar pair of binoculars for years know I have new hunting and target binoculars and won't need spotting scope for long range .

Glad they were out. Leupold has better glass. You will not regret spending a bit more when it is dawn or dusk periods.

Bought my wife a pair of Vanguard Endeavor Ed II Binoculars 8x42mm for her birthday a few weeks ago. We had the same experience moving up from a $20 econo set to these at $400.

My Cabelas points stash took a big hit but she is a happy bird watcher.
