I ain't goin'.

My offspring was up there for a few days. She is the mountains at the lake by now so she missed that fun at least. Although witnessing it from a distance may have been good for her. She’s a little naive despite my rants.

Took them to their barracks? That's an odd thing to say. Also, and this is the state of reporting which can't be truated, it was a traffic stop but they were refueling along the side of the road... Either the writer is somewhat retarded or the story is bllsht.

Probably some of both. Writers and media people seem to have low IQ’s and poor reasoning skills.

"Rise of the Moors" group basically says the whole world belonged to their ancestors before white folks stole it. Some are more hardcore than others about what that allows them to "take back". I'm sympathetic to their gun rights and other constitutional rights but some of them say no laws apply to them except the ones their group recognizes. "Others' rights" not recognized seem to sometimes include "Rise of the Moors" members rights to other peoples' (your) property.

They may not be in line with my beliefs but short of breaking a law why are they making a big deal if this.

I know they cop started out likely checking in on them and once he saw the guns went further into that path.

Interestingly the "Rise of the Moors" group is and has for a while been listed by the Southern Poverty Law Center (buncha lefties) as a "Domestic Terrorist/ Extremist group". It should make it harder for "the authorities" to blow this off, but I'm guessing it will be just another case of "nothing to see here".

yeah, i'm with Stogies on this...
what did they do that was wrong, other than exist and have guns?

And I like how the officials were saying the public should feel good that people were arrested and guns were confiscated... Want to know how to make me absolutely not feel even remotely good? tell me you did all that but don't mention that they did anything wrong...

Some imbedded videos from our Moorish friends.

I really want to see those videos, but it looks like that's a big nope

"No threats were made, but these men should be considered armed and dangerous," Wakefield police said.
So you shut down the highway and made everybody shelter over... literally nothing at fricking all. I'd even go so far as to call that SLANDER, telling everybody that they're dangerous for doing nothing wrong. The only dangerous ones out there are the ones in the SS uniforms.

The man says, "we are abiding by the peaceful journey laws of the United States of Federal Courts." He also cites a supreme court case decision that specifies "merely carrying an arm" or "carrying a gun constitutes no offense."
For their sake I hope he's right and that they were in compliance with the transport laws. It probably about went out the window once they tooled up and faced off with the Stasi though. Still, a really good lawyer might be able to argue that it was reasonable self defense against an attempt at illegal seizure once they got to that point.

Same group?

… According to the Southern Poverty Law Center, "Members of the Moorish sovereigns, called Moors, have come into conflict with federal and state authorities over their refusal to obey laws and government regulations ... Moorish sovereigns espouse an interpretation of sovereign doctrine that African Americans constitute an elite class within American society with special rights and privileges that convey on them a sovereign immunity placing them beyond federal and state authority." …

Try that crap in the wrong southern areas and they’ll find out they ain’t got immunity to lead …

I bet this story disappears rather quickly when the lawyers show up. Maybe even a few fringe BLM types. I've heard stories and rumors of hunters driving through Massachushits on I-95 and being harassed, detained, arrested, firearms confiscated when stopped for minor infractions.

Muslims don't have the white man to blame, we were just around to pick up the pieces of the mess the Mongols made. The Mongols are the ones that set the Muslims back a couple hundred years.
The mongols understood how to reason with the muslims...

"You are not allowed to carry a loaded or an unloaded firearm on the roadways in Massachusetts..." said a policeman in the video.

That's a pretty broad Gotcha!

That seems like a bit of a catch all huh? So you can own one but you cannot transport it from the FFL to your home? Seems like a court case waiting to happen.

I wonder what the laws are in Mass. Is open carry legal? It should be legal everywhere, but such is not the case. Would the LEO be justified to stop and deal with people doing the same thing in SC where open carry is not legal?

Perhaps something good, or perhaps very bad, will come from this if the Moors decide to sue the state, and the courts are put into the position of having to hear a 2A case. It would not be some geeky White fellow challenging the gun control laws but rather a bunch of Black dudes fighting for their civil rights guaranteed by the Constitution. It could become a racial issue that might actually get some traction. What judge or group of liberals wants to be seen as being against the civil rights of Black people? I wonder if Jesse Jackson will get into the mess. He certainly will if he thinks he can make some money from it. This could get interesting.

I'm going with all of the above for $200.00 Alex...

If they were on the way to Maine they should have kept their stuff locked up. Why anyone would even consider visiting or even crossing the border into Massachushits is beyond me? Sort of like entering "North Korea Lite".

18 USC 926A INTERSTATE TRANSPORTATION OF FIREARMS.

Notwithstanding any other provision of any law or any rule or regulation of a State or any political subdivision thereof, any person who is not otherwise prohibited by this chapter from transporting, shipping, or receiving a firearm shall be entitled to transport a firearm for any lawful purpose from any place where he may lawfully possess and carry such firearm to any other place where he may lawfully possess and carry such firearm if, during such transportation the firearm is unloaded, and neither the firearm nor any ammunition being transported is readily accessible or is directly accessible from the passenger compartment of such transporting vehicle: Provided, That in the case of a vehicle without a compartment separate from the driver's compartment the firearm or ammunition shall be contained in a locked container other than the glove compartment or console.

There is no law against open carry in MA. But their laws are so broad and open to LEO interpretation that you can be charged with something else if you open carry in front of the wrong person.
My last interview for my LTC in MA, the LEO in charge of licensing for my town gave me a stern warning that if I was seen open carrying in town, he would arrest on the spot. Every town is different. They lead by fear there.

I'm glad this event happened. Hopefully some lawyers will be able to make some good changed up there.

Indeed, especially since he is FOS and apparently, does not know the law…

Non-residents do not need a firearms license to transport their firearms in or through the Commonwealth, provided the firearms are unloaded and enclosed in a case while traveling.

Not quite true.

You CAN transport in accordance with federal law. However, if Massachusetts catches you doing so, they WILL make an arrest and confiscate and you'll have to waste time and money going to court to resolve it and get your firearms back.

What that State needs is a huge, billion dollar class action lawsuit by a bunch of affected people.

Oh please. Do you really think anyone would get anywhere in an MA court? The state has already crossed over into the unconstitutional side of tyranny. The stupid court will do nothing but continue to uphold this sort of BS because the tyrannical leaders want the power. The cops that would or do enforce this crap are the enemy and zero legitimacy or actual authority.

We don’t need a lawsuit, we need a liberation army.

About 10 years ago, I went deer hunting with a handful of guys in Charlton, MA. At the time, it was my first time hunting with anyone other than myself. A friend's dad "knew a piece of land" that he wanted to try doing a push on.
Long story short, we walked a little ways and we found ourselves at the base of the embankment of I90 (mass turnpike). With a small river going under the highway, and the piece of land we wanted to be on was on the other side of the highway.
The problem with a lot of land in MA is that it's landlocked. The only access to the patch was from the highway.
The guy looks at us and says "you ready? Follow me, gotta be quick" and he runs up the hill, hops the guardrail and sprints about 50 yards down the highway to do the same in reverse and is now on the opposite side of the river.
5 guys, full orange jumpsuits, running down I90 with shotguns.

We did it before it was cool.

I agree, the state has little to stand on other than the weapons were not properly stored for transportation. They may run into issues with ATF on a federal level. In the video the guy clearly states they are not citizens of the US, and are displaying the flag of their nation. Many of the Moorish Nation have renounced their citizenship. Under federal law once you renounce your citizenship, you are permanently prohibited from buying, selling, owning, or possessing firearms.
