Mods, accessories, do’s and don’ts? Let’s see them!

Rediscovered an old purchase and am looking for inspiration.

Sear spring flip and drill and tap trigger blade for overtravel screw. Easy and pretty darn good trigger job that way.
Go wild and reduce mainspring one coil for even lighter pull.
Replace OEM sight rail if it isn't already slotted for optics.

What's the top one with the ray-gun barrel?

That’s what I call my Pinanator! I used it for bowling pins. I took a stock pencil barrel and added a large compensator.

I used one for my first season of conventional bullseye. A base 5.5” Camper with the full-size grip frame.

It absolutely needed the TK Gearbox to replace the sear spring. I also pulled the mag safety connector. I’d consider any other modification optional. That was good enough to shoot a few mid- and high-270s NMCs.

Had a single alibi over a whole season. Great gun. Mine returned to zero when cleaned, so that was nice.

Buckmarks are a bit light, so I‘ve put an optic on that gun and relegated it to indoor bullseye league work.

Very nice group of Buckmarks. In your experience with them, have you ever had a new one with consistent ftf's out of the box? I have several 22 pistols and tinker/upgrade for fun, but this is my first Buckmark and it does not feed into the chamber. I realize that it takes a few hundred rounds in some pistols to work out the bugs, but I can't cycle even one round. I have disassembled it, cleaned, lubed, and even tried a different barrel. I have fed single rounds and it fires fine. I plan to put the factory barrel back on and send it back. Very frustrating, since I'ld like to figure it out and enjoy it.

Very happy with my Buckmark now. Ran about 100 rounds today. Flawless and on target. Still not sure why I had problems initially. I think I will keep it now.

To answer your question no, but they are 22’s. Ammo is finicky. Feed ramps build up with wax. And magazines can get sticky for a number of reasons.
I don’t clean my 22 that often. Wipe of the outside. You lube the rail and slide with slide glide light. And take a brush to the slide face and breach face. Rarely take them apart.
Glad it’s running now.

Mine did exactly the same thing. I tried to use it straight out of the box and it didn't like it.

I'm tempted by the fancy red, white, and blue one. @$650 price tag and the extra 3 mag at @$50 each that I'll need to shoot steel challenge locally are giving me pause. I've heard about an O ring problem after high round counts, but I saw that Volquartsen or Tandemkross has a relatively inexpensive fix for that. I just haven't seen many at local matches and the ones I have seen haven't run well. Given, I don't know what ammo they were using and the maintenance schedule...

Nice guns.
