Buccaneer Gun Club IDPA

I got to the house about 6:45. Took a quick shower and then me and the wife went and grabbed some diner.
I feel like I've been hit by a truck,, shoot like it too. Starting my dryfire training tommorrow.
As usually made plenty of stupid mistakes but I realize them pretty quick. I got 2 procedurials today,, one I knew it when I did it. Didn't realize I had another and don't know where.
Really enjoyed it though.
 
You are getting better every match, one of your procedures was dropping a loaded mag, didn't see the other.

Yeap, that's the one I knew as soon as I did it. Just wish I knew what the other one was. I forgot about 11 being in the first mag,,, dropped after 10 shoots, lol

Thanks, I really enjoyed shooting it. I've never shot a carry gun in a match before so it was a bit of an experiment. Found out how tough reloads are with such a small gun. Really admire what Sig created, its a soft shooter, has a great trigger, excellent sights, and unequaled capacity.

I didn't want to say anything but I've took him under my wing. I told him if he wanted my help he had to come to NC. To be honest he doesn't need much. I showed him some things he was doing wrong. Basically his follow up shot and transitions were too slow. Hes getting there.

1911 9mm. Waiting on some new grippy grips to get here. Not sure if they'll get here before Saturday.
 
@Majicmike Good news. Sign in at 9:30 and safety brief at 10:00, so we don't have to share a pup tent in Brunswick county Friday night.

Great time as usual,,I did better than I though. I finally broke the top 50%. I had 2 terrible rounds but I'm learning.
Here's one thing that I realized, @Amp Mangum is a bad man,, not real fond of electronics though:D

I was planning to go, but is was so late when I got in from work Friday. Up at 4am and got home at 9pm. I was very tired. Didn’t do anything yesterday but sit around home and rest. I think I needed that one after this week. The rain makes me work twice as hard, and we’ve had too much rain! I missed the matches during Turkey season, and this one, got to get back out there with y’all.

I missed it, too. Met one of my sons at H20 to trade for a rifle I built he wanted bad. I hated to make him wait any longer once he knew he was getting it.

I now have a GSG 5-22 (MP5 clone in .22LR) with two new factory mags on the way for anybody interested in a fun rimfire blaster. Might post in the BSTs once I have the mags later this week. And yes, he got the better end of the deal. lol

I'm in for a definite maybe. I wonder if they could move the club a little closer to The Quay?
 
The match scheduled for 10AM on August 4th at Buccaneer Gun Club has been canceled because of wet range conditions. Please join us in September for our next match.
