In Sevierville, TN. If you could stop at only one of these places...which would you choose?

No time for range rental @ Buds.

Knife works without question. They have a lot of really cool stuff there and they at least used to sell guns in the lower level.

SMKW. Hands down. Set aside at least an hour to peruse all the goodness that resides inside. I was not impressed by Bud’s.

Buds used to be GREAT before they had an on-line presence and was a good sized walk in, brick and mortar, shop near Lexington, KY, actually the thriving metropolis of Paris, KY.

Spent quite a few dollars there!

Success changes everything.

I went to SMKW while visiting the area early last year as I too didn’t have time to do both. I’m glad I chose SMKW! They have a very cool selection of guns, along with ammo/accessories, but of course the knives... a separate counter for each major brand and more knives than you can reasonably look at in a normal trip.
I’d go back again.

Been to both multiple times. SMKW.

The Buds store there is a smaller location than the original store in KY. It's not very big really at all.

That being said price check anything you are thinking of buying at SMKW against Amazon. Some stuff is cheaper some is way over. Good place to lay hands on the item before purchase though for sure.

And definitely hit Workshop Tools and the Lodge store across the street. Oh and the Coleman outlet too. Lol.

Knife works every time I am in the area. Plus chocolate as mentioned above, Lodge cast iron.I
I expect everyone has a local or semi local gun shop, but who has a local mega blade store

I’ve purchased several firearms online from SM Guns and Ammo. The prices have been outstanding and they’ve shipped immediately. I’d love to visit.

I'll pile on to the Knife Works wagon, too. I spent ten years in East Tennessee and have probably been at least 30 times.
I never get tired of it.
You'll definitely like it.

If you go there and don't eat Fried Chicken at the Applewood restaurant at the Apple Barn you are missing the 2 main attractions to that part of Tennessee.

I'll have a 13yo and 2 10-year old boys with me. I expect they'll find something to get in trouble with

I usually have two boys in tow. 15 and 7 now, but we go about once a year or so.

Guess I’ll be the odd one here. I’ve been to both many times any if I only had time for one, it would be Buds. I much prefer to look at guns than knives and trinkets; SMKW is like going to a gun show without any guns to look at, just all the other crap you see at them. I’m also not big on lots of people and that place is always slam packed.
