Buffer tube

Need a buffer tube, and saw this on Gunbroker. $20 shipped for a complete buffer tube kit.

Is this pretty much guaranteed to be a piece of crap, or have prices on decent AR gear really gotten this low?

Was hoping to buy just the tube, endplate and castle nut. I thought it used to be sold this way, but most of what I'm seeing is the complete kit (with spring and buffer) or just the buffer tube only.

I don't see the aluminum type listed anywhere in the description. Avoid anything less than 7075-T6 for buffer tubes.

I have bought UTG pro ones in the past, made in USA, for around that price. Worked fine. That's probably what it is.

FWIW It's a piece of extruded aluminum made to mil/comm spec, for a stock, not a part that sees chamber pressure. Esp on a plinker or a dust collector like most of the rifles people own today.
