Whats something like this worth? Specs from the seller:

Bulgarian parts kit built by marxman arms out of vegas. It has their proof mark on the receiver. Magpul zhukov furniture in od green. Ultimak rail, texas weapon systems dust cover, oversized charging handle, 8 mags. Circle 21, magpul and one bakelite( i think). Mags are loaded.

Plus a spam can of 7n6. And a PA red dot.

    Thanks!!!

Are you looking to buy that?

This is not a super helpful answer, but the rifle it's self is worth whatever someone's willing to pay for it. I've never heard of that builder, and it's likely the average person looking for an AK hasn't either. There's a lot of factors to consider too.

Is the kit numbers matching? If so it's worth more. Bulgy kits are going for around $4-500 online.
Is the barrel surplus? That's worth more. If it's US, it's less desirable.
The fact the front handguard retainer is gone will be a negative for a lot of folks and decrease value.

I think there's more value in ammo and accessories. Spam cans have sold in the marketplace here for around $250.
European mags are worth more than Magpul. Bakelite is worth more than standard polymer. The fact he isn't sure if one of his mags is actually bakelite is off putting.

Kit builds like that are iffy for most folks because you have no idea about barrel or receiver specs, no warranty, and no idea if the builder knew what they were doing.

5.45 is also less popular than 7.62x39.

I don't think that seller will get the $1000 he's asking. If you're interested in it, demand to shoot it first. One of the first Google results for that builder from AKFiles is someone having trouble getting their AK-74 to feed.

This is the same result I found when doing a bit of searching. He had offered it as a trade with a $1300 value.

Thanks for all the info! Very informative!
