Im looking to buy a set or dies for my single stage press that are Creedmoor based but would allow me to change bushings and load 22 CM, 6 CM, and 6.5 CM. I would need the 6.5 first and buy the additional bushings later. What are your recommendations?

I have never used bushing dies and know little about them but do have some questions. Different chamberings of different calibers using the same parent case would have different amounts of shoulder. Would the bushings allow you to get proper setback and shaping of the shoulder if you put a 22 bushing into a 6.5 body? Do bushings of different calibers have the same outside diameter?

Forster or Redding

Both, are great if not the best dies period. I have heard nothing but great stuff from them. They are pricey but worth the coinage.

So imma recommend-

Forster

Redding

Lyman

Who ever else.

If you're using a bushing die to neck-size only, you may be able to get away one die body and multiple bushings. FL bushing dies are going to be more caliber specific, although there might be some overlap based on the parent case.

I have never tried what is being suggested here, but I am inclined to agree with Charlie. While you could neck size properly, I suspect that the difference between a few 1/1000s on the bushing which is tolerable for the neck/shoulder junction, would be too large a difference between a 6mm, 6.5mm and a 22CM. The nominal shoulder diameter at the junction of the neck bushing and the shoulder of the die may well be large enough to result donuts around the case neck, and it may even prevent proper shoulder set back.

I have never heard of doing this before, so I am skeptical, but that does not mean that I am correct here.

I regularly use Redding and Forster dies. I use their competition series bushing type dies for both 308 and 6.5C highly recommend them.
Call Redding and speak someone in support and you'll get what you need for sizing, etc. for which bushings to order based on your desired end result / chambering, etc. There's a little bit of math involved and a few variables.
Non-bushing type neck sizing, the Redding dies are excellent, as well the list of others, however I've been preferential to RCBS in years past.

Agree 100%, and on the subject of Forster Dies, you may want to consider just having them (Forster) hone the neck out to your bushing size on one of their full body resizing dies in 6 and 6.5 creedmoor. They will do that for an additional $12.00 or $20 or some such ridiculous amount. All-in-all a good deal and you will have as near perfect sizing dies as you can get. the total cost may even compare with what you are thinking of trying. Nitride bushings cost more than having the neck honed out to your specs!!!!! And I am given to understand that they turn them in about a week.
