Butt my Stock!

No this don't go in the Basement, but after you muggs are done with it it might have to.

What I'm lookin' for is a tushy cushy, aka recoil reducing pad.

It's not uncommon for me to go through fifty, sixty rounds at a sitting. After about 20, without some cushy you start to feel the bern.

I'd really prefer a screw-on replacement for the hideous ribbed block of ice that comes on these things. But in all my searches I can't find one. The stock end does open for stash, but I'll never carry anything in there besides air.
So I might probably hafta go with a slip-on. Reservations with these though is interference with cheek weld, and probably having to do some trimming around the QD hole that's right there. Not too scared to do this with the right pad.

Specs; AR10 with Magpul fixed Rifle stock part # MAG404

They do work, I can't deny.
But I'm a brake hater. Loud, blast, fire, all that. I give up some of their performance qualities and go with linear comps instead.

Adj. gas block is a viable addition and one I've strongly considered.

MDT makes a replacement pad for the PRS and MOE rifle stocks. No personal experience, but it's supposed to be more cushy.

Limbsaver makes a very soft pad for the CTR/STR/ACS models, which I have used on 308 gas guns, but it doesn't appear that they make a version for the PRS style stocks.

Lmao. I couldn’t remember who said it but I loaded it in my Rolodex as soon as I saw it a couple months ago. I’ve had the safety off and finger on the trigger ever since.

I have one of these on a CTR. It's nice. Gots a tacky grippy skin that almost velcro's to the shoulder. And no they don't make one for the PRS series.

And @Will is the only one of you bishes worth his paycheck and not rag on me for my choice of feminine care products.
