There will be some tables under a cover dedicated for Buy/Sell/Trade. So, bring any items that you wish to sell or trade.

Others have mentioned bringing ammo, reloading supplies, holsters, scopes, etc. I will have a lot of hand tools for sale at ridiculously cheap prices. Bring anything that you want, and bring cash.

Any idea whether there will be an NC FFL in attendance?

Not sure, but I'm pretty sure that an SC FFL will be on site. If any NC FFL is going to be there, maybe they'll speak up.

Will there be any preprinted bills of sale? Asking for a friend.
I think most of us can accept that version you usually provide. ;)

I have some extra MEC shotgun presses and other assorted reloading gear I can sell very reasonably.

Since there is an SC FFL there I will bring some firearms as well. I am from NC. Can I sell to NC resident in SC without FFL?

NC resident selling to an NC resident, whilst in SC....FFL required? Inquiring minds want to know...

I'm sure it would be perfectly legal for 2 NC residents to hop in the car, ride about 15 minutes to the border, exchange & come back.
100% legal!
This would take only slightly longer then 4473's....

Maybe I'm just dense, maybe it's because I got rid of my class 1&3 FFL a few years ago...
I don't understand your "sarcastic" response.
I gave an option to solve a problem that 2 members inquired about (and maybe many more that haven't asked) This is a perfectly legal (as I understand the law) option. If you know different, please turn off the sarcasm font and enlighten us.
If you're implying that my response will draw attention from the "alphabet overlords" then so be it. They will surely be happy to see that nobody here has intentions of breaking any laws... Infact, we are going out of our way to stay within the law.
So please Kcult, enlighten me on the error I have made.

Generally, for a person to lawfully transfer a firearm to an unlicensed person who resides out of State, the firearm must be shipped to a Federal firearms licensee (FFL) within the transferee’s State of residence. The transferee may then receive the firearm from the FFL upon completion of an ATF Form 4473 and a NICS background check.

Well, that puts a kink in my colon. :(

Seems to be a grey area, imo.

A person may transfer a firearm to an unlicensed resident of his or her State, provided the transferor does not know or have reasonable cause to believe the transferee is prohibited from receiving or possessing firearms under Federal law. There may be State laws that regulate intrastate firearm transactions. A person considering transferring a firearm should contact his or her State Attorney General’s Office to inquire about the laws and possible State or local restrictions.

2 NC residents can definitely make a person to person transfer on NC soil.
Which isn't far from Battery Oaks.

The error you made was assuming I had an issue with your post. I was only using it as a springboard for mine. My bad.

My comment was aimed more at all the questions being asked about FFLs, transactions, etc., and it reminded me of all the letters people would send in to question the legality of something, shouldering a pistol brace, for example.

For me personally, I find it a bit silly.

As far as your advice, I think it's solid. Being so close to the state line, if those parties want to transact on the up and up, what you suggested is definitely a good option.

Jeez, I can't believe we're even having this conversation, lol. I guess I'm of the belief of two NC residents wanting a transaction, and both are legal, I'm not sure I give a rats behind what side dirt I'm on. But that's just me. Y'all follow the rules to a T.

I’ll be bringing this FS also

I will probably pair it up with the .308 ammo in my previous post to sell as a package deal

1965 Ishapore .308 w/ matching numbers. Stock looks like it got wet but appears to just be darker wood or perhaps was wiped down with oil when cleaned.

Only has one detachable magazine but they are not hard to find online. Bayonet comes with it also.

I could probably talked out of the following whilst at the shindig:

- S&W 629-3, 5" prelock
- Marlin 1894, JM stamp .44Mag
- Ruger Bearcat .22
- S&W Victory .22
- Ruger SP101 3" .357
- S&W 15-22 Gen 1 16"
- AR-9mm - upper or complete pistol. Currently configured as SBR, but could swap out with a pistol lower. 4.5" barrel, PSA magwell adapter for colt mags, KAW valley bolt
- Savage MK II FV-SR w/Boyd's tacticool stock and DIP bottom metal. PSA scope.

Looking for....
- 10mm semi-auto capable of mounting an RDS.
- precision AR upper in .223. Think 600-700 meters, not 3 gun.

PM me for specifics if anything piques your interest.
