at the Cabarrus Events Arena. Whatever you do, don't waste your time. I went looking for something for a friend of mine, and this is the worst show I've EVER been to. I know C&E's shows are usually smaller, but I've been to this one before and usually find something to bring home. Lots of empty tables, and not that many vendors there at all. At least my buddy is reimbursing my entry, lol, or I'd be pissed about wasting $9.00 for absolutely nothing.

I am pissed about wasting $9, to be honest it was highway robbery. Basically had two vendors with guns, who weren't all that great on prices. Everything else in there could have basically been found at a flea market or yard sale. Worst show I've ever been to. Wouldn't waste my time again even if it was on the road I live on.

this is basically why i really only hit the Charlotte show anymore.
 
A lot of the vendors you would usually have at Concord were at the Fletcher show this weekend.
 
I was going to post something similar. I wasted my $9 too.

Every person leaving I passed on the way in was grumbling about how bad of a show was. I overheard some C&E employees/staff telling people that the show was ā€œcompetingā€ with five other shows that same weekend. Piss poor planning if you ask me.

I went in with an optimistic attitude and left with a ā€œWTF did I just seeā€ attitude. That may have ruined C&E shows for me forever.
 
I stopped going to any C & E show awhile back. After wasting my money two times I learned my lesson.

I hear what you're saying, and I understand. But regardless of how it went down, i believe they just permanently ruined the Concord gunshow for everyone that showed up there and wasted their money for entry.

If i was working that show, knowing what was behind those doors, it would have been clear to me, that i was taking money away from people who would gain nothing by walking in. The show was a disgrace and should have just outright been cancelled.
 
I've never had a good time there. The Hickory C&E shows are always at least decent.

I really enjoy the Asheville shows, but can't seem to muster the energy for the drive.
 
When C&E used to be at the Park Expo (behind Bojangles Coliseum) it wasnā€™t bad. Now that Dixie moved in there, C&E has given up on Charlotteā€”likely for lack of a venue.

But I agree with what was said above: this may have done irreparable harm to the C&E show in Concord. Youā€™ll always get the old men who are looking for that one buy it low and strike it rich on a resale, but the rest of us arenā€™t impressed.

I quit going to the C&E shows years ago. They were a waste of time and money. Might do a Dixie show once in a while and try to hit the Greensboro show at least once a year.
 
IMO the best vendor I have ever seen at the Concord show is the LGS Ideal Sportsman in Concord. They do gunshow pricing every day in their store and have a good website. Good prices on quality used guns also. Why would I bother driving another 5 miles down 49, then having to tell the parking lot attendant I don't pay for parking if I am attending the gun show and not the lizard people show every damn time. Wonder how many people they have charged for parking when they shouldn't have. I pay Cabarrus county taxes to maintain that building for the general public.

I also mainly attend Charlotte since it's the same driving distance and a larger show
 
We went over the Eagle Guns afterward. Been years since i was in there. Still one of the friendliest and seemingly knowledgeable shops Iā€™ve ever been in. Fair prices on stuff too.

Yep, good guys over at Eagle. That's where I go if I need to shoot indoors.
