Unless they cancel … the Raleigh Kennel Club has a fairly decent dog show over the long Labor Day weekend in the Jim Graham Building so the gun show will be in the Expo Building. Parking might be a bit crowded if the dog show isn’t canceled.

Never been in the expo bldg. Will give it a try. Just looked and its got 50,000 ‘ft vs 95,000 ’ft in the jim grahm bldg. Half as big=twice as crowded?

It is smaller, newer, and nicer than the Jim Graham Building. Bathrooms are much larger, too.

I've never been to the c&e show, how does this compare to the gunshow in Greensboro (when we had them)

Smaller. Fewer dealers. More "crap," although I have made some pretty good finds at the C&E Raleigh show over the years.

Is it worth driving 2 hrs each way?

That is impossible to say. You could find the find of a lifetime. Or, you could waste your day. I've done gun shows for over 20 years and there is no way of predicting what shows are worth it and what shows are not.

Do you think these stock blanks would sell at the gun show? I can’t attend the show (work on weekends). Is anyone with a table at the show interested in selling these for me on commission? I could bring them to the building on Friday afternoon

They might. You don’t see stuff like that for sale at the shows like you used to, but there is still some demand for it.

Good Evening CFF Members,
As mentioned by others above, this weekends show is in the expo building instead of the Jim Graham building.

C&E Shows in Raleigh typically only ever have 450ish tables (even in the other building), so the venue move actually just eliminates the wasted space that is blocked off at the Jim Graham building. The rows appear to be standard width and most of the usual vendors are in town.

Please be aware, the reason we were bumped over to that building is the Jim Graham building is hosting a dog show and the people who show their dogs have used have lots of their RV's, Air Conditioned Dog Kennels, and other such stuff at the perimeter of the State Fair Grounds, in addition the attendees are likely to use a lot of parking as well. My recommendation is to come early and be ready for the 9am open.

We hope to see you there as our company has 3 tables there this weekend and we will have

Guns
- Glock 17 x 2
- SCCY 9mm x 3
- M&P 9mm
- M&P 40S&W
- Sig P365 XL
- Del-Ton AR-15
- Savage 6.5 Creedmoor
- J. Stevens .22-410 Over Under (Pre-1968)

Ammo
- .223/5.56 55Gr FMJ
- .38 Special
- 9mm Luger 124gr FMJ
- .380 ACP Corbon
- and many more

Once-Fired Brass
20+ Pounds of Powder
Projectiles for all of your common calibers
Large Rifle Primers
Large Pistol Magnum Primers
And More

If you have any brass you would like to sell or trade, please bring it in and we will weigh it up and give you an offer on the spot. Note - We will beat Defender Ammunition, Georgia Arms, and the local scrap yards.

Lastly, should anyone find the pistol of their dreams from a non-local (Raleigh Durham Area) vendor and you don't yet have your pistol purchase permit, don't fret. We will be happy to have it transferred to us and escrow it until you have your permit in hand for a small fee.

This will be my 1st Raleigh show.
I'm going to carry my new BUL ARMORY 9mm 1911 with me.
Give a holler if you see me Sunday.

Went this morning. I'm sure the vendors wished for more foot traffic, but it was pleasant walking around. @cubrock was busy as usual. Pleasant visit. Almost completed a deal with him. Another vendor and I talked a bit about a Pietta 1873, in .357. I talked myself out of it. Overall, I'm glad I went.

We attended today, wasn't too bad. I saw 9mm from $0.35 a rd for 1k (didn't trust it for some reason) to $0.50 a round. One vendor was WAY over priced on everything, the rest seemed to be current market value on most things. For instance, $389 for a Ruger 10/22 wood stock. I saw the same rifle at two other vendors for $300.

I picked up a pocket knife, normally I never buy anything and stop by my LGS on the way home... I still enjoy attending the shows regardless. No overheard ridiculous conversations today for entertainment purposes.

I was there at 1 o'clock and the $350 box of blazer 1000 rounds was still there. Ended up splitting a box of tula 223 with some buddies $450 for 1k. And I got 2 boxes of 9mm for $20 a box. Was not as high as I expected a covid gunshow to be. LOT of medical supply booths
